  • Cabaña de madera con vistas fantásticas, con la privacidad de lado sereno de la montaña. Arrullados por las brisas de la montaña tenues frescas y los sonidos del río abajo. En el porche cubierto, relajarse en varios rockeros de registro y ver las nubes flotan y el horizonte siempre cambiante de las Montañas Humeantes. BBQ su pesca del día o de su carne favorita en el grilll; o disfrutar de un picnic en la mesa de picnic Amish en el porche trasero. Caminatas arriba y abajo de la pantalla laurel de montaña, flores silvestres, bayas de color azul y negro camino privado. Hemos visto regularmente bandadas de pavos salvajes, ciervos, conejos y otros animales salvajes.

    Un montón de muebles cómodos para descansar lejos un día de lluvia y escuchar la lluvia suena dramático sobre el techo de metal en el gran porche de balanceo. Acogedora delante de la chimenea de piedra. 2-satélite TV con DVD y VHS con biblioteca de películas aptas para niños.     Lo largo de la carretera escénica 4 millas pasado dos impresionantes cascadas (foto de abajo) es el lugar de lanzamiento para el rafting el Nantahala. A sólo 4 millas de la otra dirección es el hermoso lago Nantahala. Tres empresas de rafting a poca distancia en coche. NOC aproximadamente 6 millas del lugar de lanzamiento río. ** Nota, la empinada inclina en nuestro grava, camino de la montaña se abrió recientemente que debería hacer nuestro camino transitable por cualquier vehículo 4.6 cilindro.

The cabin was well maintained and cozy. We loved the porch view. We mostly sat outside on the porch and played board games. There was a momma Eastern Phoebe bird with a nest of two babies in the awning of the porch which made for fun viewing. The kitchen was nicely stocked with dishes and other items. Communication with Judy was always fast and she was very helpful. We would definitely stay again!

Very homey stay with a great view. We had to carry our trash home with us since the dump was closed on Sundays. We had some hair on our sheets upon arrival and the grass was grown up around the fireplace. Otherwise, beautiful property and we had fun white water rafting nearby. The driveway is one way and steep fyi.

A little slice of heaven

We totally enjoyed our stay. The porch had the most beautiful long range peaceful views. The cabin was well stocked and our host was responsive. I would recommend this cabin to anyone looking for a fantastic getaway.

Overall cabin was clean but could use a good dusting,light fixtures to furniture. Grass was overgrown around fire pit. My daughter said upstairs bed was hard, probably could use a mattress topper. This is second year staying here and will continue to come back. Everything isn’t going to be perfect everytime. Beautiful views. Very quiet.

We love this property!! Such a serene, quiet, comfortable, cozy cabin with an amazing view. Love the back porch with rocking chairs and awesome farm table. We ate there almost every day. The surrounding area is just great for fishing, hiking, going into Bryson City or the NOC. So fun!

This cabin was cute and cozy ! The view off the back porch was amazing as well ! It was perfect for our week getaway to see peak colors. The kitchen is plenty stocked will all your basic needs to cook. Although I do recommend bringing your own spices if you’re particular about what you use. The host was 10/10 with communication and is very nice !

My wife and I loved staying at this property. We were there for 1 week. The views were spectacular, very few neighbors, and close to great trout fishing/motorcycle roads.

Memorial trip

Our trip was to remember my son whose ashes were scattered at the waterfall on Wayah Rd. The cabin was a perfect pick for us and was wonderful with stunning views from the back deck. We appreciate the opportunity to stay at this beautiful cabin and it will definitely be our choice to stay every year from now on. It is close to the waterfall and we could visit often during our stay.

Fall Get-Away

We were thrilled with our visit to this cabin! It was cozy with an awesome mountain decor. It was very well stocked and had a fabulous back deck/porch with a stunning view of the mountains. The weather was perfect and we ate out on the back porch and took our dog for lots of walks around the mountain. This is the perfect place to get away from it all and relax.

Family vacation

We loved our stay at the cabin. Clean and had everything you would need for a nice comfortable stay. The view was amazing. We could hear the waterfalls and river from the back porch. So peaceful and relaxing. So glad we stayed there for our family summer vacation.

Breathtaking View

The view was exceptional. Cabin was stocked with everything we needed. We enjoyed the outdoor fire pit and grilling out while looking at the beautiful mountains. Slept well in the king bed upstairs.

Must stay at cabin, beautiful views, quite and peaceful.

We had a great time, went Trout fishing just up the road at a trout farm on Christmas Day and had fresh trout for Christmas dinner. We like the location of the cabin and the wonderful river just below that you could hear from the porch.

Great location for outdoor adventures.

Nearby you have Lake Nanthaha, Nanthahala River, Bryson City, hiking to observation towers, mountain biking and about 1:15 from Ocoee River. Beautiful country.

Great cabin with numerous amenities, great views and lots of extras that were appreciated (such as, gas grill, labeled cabinets, clear instructions on the fridge, rockers and table on the back porch, THE VIEW, the fire circle, games, and t.v.s, some spices and some food wrap goods). The fire ring was great, but you need to gather wood or bring a bundle, in case there is none in the holder. OUR GIRLS WEEK WAS AWESOME. One thing to check out...other thanthe Nantahala Outdoor Center and (of course) the Smokey Mountain National Park is Nantahala Lake...there is a sweet restaurant with great indoor and out door seating (great evening seating too with fire pits), and kayak, canoe, and pontoon boat rentals. The Nantahala Lake restaurant (not sure if that's the name) is on your right about 4-5 miles up Wayah Rd. (you'll turn left when leaving the road that leads to the cabin). The hostess (Judy) was pretty quick to answer our questions before during, and after our stay too, which wad much appreciated. I hope to return one day!
