"Unfortunately, my stay was not very comfortable.
One of the biggest issues was the bathroom's sliding door. It would not stay fully closed and kept sliding open on its own, which was quite inconvenient. I would especially not recommend this hotel for couples who value privacy.
The soundproofing was also poor. The walls seemed very thin, and I could clearly hear the woman in the neighboring room walking around in high heels, which was quite disturbing.
I even spotted small bugs several times,...

The place is a little ways from the station, so be prepared to walk around 10 minutes to the nearest subway station.
Checkin was relatively straightforward- you can use a kiosk to check in/out yourself, and many languages (English, Chinese, Korean, Japanese) are supported. There is also a multi-language currency conversion machine available in the lobby. Staff are okay and available at the front desk.

"The rooms were super clean and spacious. I loved the bathroom setup with walk in showers with tub inside, both a rain shower head and handheld shower heads, and bidet. The hotel is a little out of the way but also convenient to a train station and in a really quiet and safe neighborhood. I would definitely come back again and pick this over pricier, smaller hotels that might be more centrally located. Super worth it. Thank you!"

"We show up at 3PM for check in and the room wasn't ready.
The staff mentioned they're doing the final preparations!
We tried again at 3:30 and the same answer was given. This time the staff said they're doing final touch!
Just pathetic.
At 4PM we find out the room wasn't ever ready.
The room had a sink problem.
They moved us to an inferior room.
No apologies or refund for the different room.
We will never be there again even if it is free"

"シングルベッド３台の部屋があるので利用を決めました。江南駅からすぐでとても便利でした。部屋には大きな冷蔵庫、電子レンジ、IHコンロ、炊飯器や食器類もあって自炊ができるようになっていたので長期滞在にもいいとおもいます。（今回は短期旅行なのでつかいませんでした）
バスタブはなく、シャワーブースのみ。湯量は十分、水がブースから流れ出ることもなく気持ちよく使えました。
欲を言えば、脱衣場がもっと広ければよかったです。洗面所、トイレ、シャワーブースのある区画が狭く、脱衣したあとの衣類を置く場所にこまりました。
参考までに部屋のアメニティ等の情報です。シャンプーあり、コンディショナーなし、ボディーソープあり、部屋着なし、スリッパあり、歯ブラシなし、ドライヤーあり。"

"Great stay at the Glad Mapo hotel in Seoul. Hotel is ideally located, right next to Gongdoek station which made travelling around Seoul very easy. Room was perfect with walk in shower and plenty of space. Breakfast was good especially the Asian selection. Highly recommend a stay here, very reasonable and also easy getting to airport, local stopping train taking about an hour directly from Gongdoek station."
