Lovely quirky cotswold cottage (Old Telephone Exchange)

  • Exchange Cottage has been thoughtfully renovated keeping many reminders of it's past. It comfortably sleeps 4 people with two bedrooms; a downstairs super king or a lovely bright king bedroom on the top floor which can be made into a twin on request. Both bedrooms are en-suite with a large p shaped bath on the first floor. Plenty of storage space. There is a downstairs toilet. The main living area is very comfortable for four people with a dining table, lounge seating, TV and log burner. The kitchen is compact but very functional and well equipped. Outside, there is a courtyard with seating outside dining. The property is enclosed with a fence. Parking for 2 cars on the drive too.

The cottage was an excellent central starting point for walks, visits to gardens and manor houses and towns in the area.

Charming

This was the perfect location to stay out of the business of the tourist but to be in the midst of charm and the heart of Cotswolds while having easy access to the touristy areas.

Wonderful centrally located cottage. The space has been designed so that is feels so much bigger than we expected. We loved being able to walk to a couple of pubs in the town and exceptional coffee shop.

Lovely cottage and great location

Well equipped and most comfortable beds , showers amazing instantly hot and powerful , loved the bedroom and ensuite on 1st floor.

Perfect location, perfect property.

Easy access from M5, good parking, the house was lovely, clean and had everything we needed. We loved the Northleach - it’s very picturesque. We would certainly stay again.

The cutest Cotswold cottage

This cottage was perfect for our stay. The hosts have really kept this property up with modern features and tons of charm. The only thing better than the accommodations was the town. Met the sweetest locals and had our fill of good food and drinks. We will absolutely be coming back to stay!

Beautiful cottage

This was our second stay at this cottage, a home from home, it had everything you needed for a comfortable, happy time away. The village is very beautiful with lots of amenities, spectacular church, and it position in the cotswolds makes it near lots of places of interest to visit. Lovely place.

Mini break

We all had a fabulous relaxing time. Absolutely loved the cottage . Cosy, warm , well equipped & welcoming. Very dog friendly area with lots of beautiful walks all around. We highly recommend the cottage & are hoping to return soon .

Family Trip

Fantastic stay. Everything was amazing. Traveled with husband, teenage son and our dog. Perfect location, shop and pub close by and other areas in easy reach. Will definitely return for another visit xx

Lovely little home in a quaint village

We loved the cottage and location. We ate at a couple of the pubs in town and visited the general store. It was like stepping into a postcard.

Great value stay.

Exchange cottage was perfect for a short stay in the Cotswolds. It was clean, well maintained and very comfortable. We would definitely stay again. The setting is great, close to many of the loveliest parts of the Cotswolds,

Perfect quirky cottage in a lovely village

This is our second stay here and we came to tour the Cotswolds. The cottage is perfect and has everything you need, the village has a lovely restaurant within east walking distance and it is located within easy reach of visiting other local villages and towns. So much history and beautiful buildings and sights to see!

Amazing

We were 2 couples and stayed for 2 nights and were pleasantly surprised. The cottage is a lot bigger than in the photos and has everything you need. I have no complaints and cannot wait to stay again.
