"Unclean, smelly rooms. Appliances that don’t work. Long-term guests staying at the hotel who seem a little vulnerable or dodgy. When my friend and I returned from a concert last night, three women were draped over the entrance stairs outside the hotel - they were clearly at-risk in one way or another and waiting for something or someone. It was unnerving. So was earlier in the evening when we heard a guy punch the inside of the lift just before it opened on our floor - there was definitely...

"It’s a new hotel and rooms were clean. Convenient location within Melbourne shopping precinct. Stayed on 7th floor corner room therefore some street noise could be heard. Only issue is where the TV was placed in an odd location in the middle at the end of the bed which was a safety hazard as you can hit your head against it. Tram stop is just right in front at Elizabeth street."

"We were pleased to receive an upgrade. The apartment was lovely, well presented, a good size and had everything we needed. Unfortunately it was spoiled by outside noise (not the fault of the apartments) and a sofa that was uncomfortable. I didn't like that there was a small amount of black mold in the grout of the shower. Apart from that we enjoyed our stay and would recommend these apartments."

"The room was very clean and comfortable, but unfortunately, for some inexplicable reason, there was a problem with the water in the bathroom. I was unable to shower or even flush the toilet and spoke to reception about the problem. They were very apologetic and offered me the use of another room. They also offered me a free breakfast. I was appreciative of their efforts, but asked to speak to a manager when they were available. I received a call later in the morning and discussed the matter...
