  • If you love the outdoors, this is the place for you! Just a 20 minute drive from Ottawa in the renowned cute town of Chelsea. 10 minutes away from the beautiful town of Wakefield, with the Nordik Spa, 10 minutes in the other direction
    Many Gatineau Hills hiking trails surround the property and we're within walking distance to the Larrimac Golf & Tennis Club -as well as steps away from the Community Trail and waterfront on the Gatineau River. At the water's edge you'll have everything you need to enjoy the river-kayak, canoe, floating dock.

    What people love most is the actual cottage! It's got a great outdoor screened in porch and a beautiful view of the Gatineau River. Waking up on the 2nd floor feels like you're waking up in the trees.

Charming, spacious, close to the river and pathway. We had a wonderful time and enjoyed everything about this place. The owner was charming, the location easy to find, and the view is spectacular. Will definitely go again!

Chambres spacieuses et salle de bain complète qui rend la visite avec des jeunes enfants facile. Cuisine aussi complète alors c'est parfait pour sauver de l'argent en cuisinant quelques repas.

The cottage is very cozy and well-equipped with everything you need. The screened-in porch definitely was a gathering place for us - and the king bed in the master bedroom is very comfy. Lots of space - for some reason I thought we'd be right "on" the water (it is not) but not a big issue. For what we were looking for - it was fabulous! There was ample parking for visitors, host was very responsive (a couple of frying pans may need some upgrading). Overall, an excellent stay!

Rustic cabin with nice view on the river and a trail in the back. Great quiet location! Everything you need for a simple getaway. Great communication with host, she was very helpful.

Super cosy cottage, very quiet area, great view from the upstairs bedroom window, perfectly situated: close to Gatineau Park and only 20 mins to downtown Ottawa. Host had good tips and was very welcoming. Many fun places to visit close by. The autumn colours were spectacular!

Chalet rustique. Beaucoup de place pour coucher. Vue partiel sur le lac à partir de la véranda. Matériel minimum pour cuisiner. Le four ne fonctionnait pas très bien mais je ne l'ai pas signalé car j'ai utilsé le BBQ. Problème de fourmis dans quelques pièces lors de mon séjour ce qui a causé beaucoup de désagrément et le produit anti-fourmi fourni m'a causé de l'irritation. Endroit très tranquille sans bruit de voiture.

Quaint little glamping cabin with good heating and lots of natural light! Cozy upstairs bedroom had an amazing view of the Gatineau River. It's a steep stroll to the waterfront, but the host is conveniently right next door. There were only 2 of us, but the cottage was surprisingly spacious and equipped for triple that! I proposed to my girlfriend that weekend, Jen even helped me make it just a bit more special. Very friendly hosts went above and beyond, great neighborhood, and it's within taxi/uber distance from Ottawa too. Fantastic, would recommend for a humble couple's retreat like ours!
