Walk across the road and take the steps down to our private picnic area, jetty, and wharf. Climb upstairs for an uninterrupted river view balcony and BBQ facilities. Fully equipped open plan living with two comfortable bedrooms. Minutes away from Brooklyn, the M1, and 45mins to Sydney CBD.

    There is a spiral staircase at the back of the cottage which allows access to the top of the balcony where there is a BBQ area with an amazing view. Please take care as the staircase is quite steep and might not be suitable for very young children and the elderly.

Perfect for a quiet trip to the river. Perfect place and opportunity to engage in the local river life. Supportive neighbours and very responsive host. Very enjoyable stay with cozy and economic setting.

Peaceful Water Views

Gorgeous cottage overlooking the water at Cheerio Point. Great property with welcoming atmosphere. Up to date bathroom and kitchen and comfortable beds. Beautiful.

Great cottage stay

Nice cottage to stay at and unwind. We caught a nice size flathead off the jetty and the picnic area was perfect for lazy afternoons. Wish we had brought a picnic blanket.

Beautifully presented cottage. Spotlessly clean. Private jetty with expansive view of the Hawksberry River. Berry is a very attentive and responsive host. You won’t be disappointed!

tranquil, cosy and relaxing

Berry's cottage is a little gem of a place. We were there for two months and found the place a nice refuge from the hustle and bustle. Unfortunately, being a winter stay we could not fully enjoy the amenities as there is not a lot of sunshine to be had and the place is difficult to keep warm at times. Views are stunning as well as calming and peaceful. Berry is a very attentive host and was always on hand to help us out where needed. The place could be a little cleaner and you need to get used to the bathroom as it is very tight. Kitchen could do with a few upgrades also. The place is great for short term, however, longer stays are a bit harder due to some lack of space.
