Enjoyed our August stay. Quiet neighborhood. Walking distance to downtown. Appreciated the K-cups, toilet paper and paper towels provided. Kitchen is stocked for all needs of cooking/baking. Washer and dryer work great.Not sure why a previous guest complained about the refrigerator not working. It works perfectly fine. All our food was kept cold.Check in and check out were a breeze. Internet works good. The upstairs bedrooms are noticeably warmer than the first floor. King size bed is comfortable. Water pressure in the shower is wonderful.Excellent communication with owner. Very quick to reply.

check in was ok kitchen needs update fridge didn't work I had to get ice and used my cooler to keep my food in right temperature and stove when we started using was leaking somewhere because the house starts smell gas.we can't really use the kitchenwe are afraid of the spiders and was everywhere since the entry from the door, need to work more in cleaning the property before guest coming.

A great home base for a week of family adventures

My family and I (7 people) stayed at this property while we were up in the area to visit our daughter who is an Honor Scout on Mackinac Island. We made a vacation out of it and explored Cheboygan, Mackinaw City, Mackinac Island, and the St. Ignace. This property had everything we needed to recover in between our adventures. We had everything we needed to make family meals, shower, rest, and have some quality family time. Staying here felt like being at home and it was hard to leave and make the long journey home when the time came. The host was great. Very responsive to communications and a pleasure to work with before, during, and after our stay. We will definitely be booking this property again next year if our schedules align.

Five well past a certain age women shared this home for a week and had a great time.This is an older house with older furnishings, upstairs and downstairs, but it has 5 comfortable beds, [1 king downstairs, 2 full or queen and 2 generous twins upstairs] 3 bathrooms, [2 with showers downstairs and 1 with a tub we did not try- upstairs.] Both showers had decent water pressure. There were plenty of clean sheets, good pillows, and warm blankets or comforters. There were lots of clean towels but for some reason, very few washcloths. We added to the supply so there should be plenty now. The washer and dryer are large, newish, and work well. The stairs are old and narrow but well carpeted. A handrail is needed - there is none - for a little going up or down security but the walls are close on both sides. There is a dishwasher we never used and a coffee maker that uses pods. The toaster, gas stove, and refrigerator work well. There is a fire starter in the drawer to the left of the stove, that you may need to light the gas for the first few times you use a burner. Then it works well. The microwave is old but once you figure out the buttons, it works. Directions: 1. Select Time Entry Button. {Look for it.} 2. Set Time {300 = 3 minutes} 3. Press Start. Ignore the other buttons. We had plenty of seating in the living room for conversation and a nice sized kitchen table for playing cards. There are 3 TVs that we never used and a nice cupboard of games at the top of the stairs.
