"I am always a litte skeptical to rent a place that doesn't have several reviews to read. I have to say this place exceeded our expectations in every way. You can tell it is newly remodeled. It has plenty of indoor and outdoor space overlooking the wide canal. Our family of seven plus their friends that came by to hang out in the pool and kayak had lots of room. We had everything we needed with all the little extras that were provided. I would highly recommend this place. Thank you for sharing...

"My family (3 teens & myself) stayed 4 nights here. We spent 3 days on the river, then went to Honeymoon Island on the 4th day. The house is well-equipped with river gear, bedding, and new appliances. We easily made breakfast and snacks with the utensils and kitchen items on hand. The only thing I needed to buy were Kleenex and laundry soap, but that's to be expected. The host had everything from throw blankets to sun hats and oscillating fans ready to use. The temperature of the house was cool...

"Perfect location for scalloping and visiting the springs. The house comfortably accommodated 13 people, no problem. This is our third time staying here."

"House was perfect and super roomy for our family of 4. Porch and outside area were a favorite. House is a short paddle to the river. Kayaks included were in good condition. Host was quick to respond to questions/cincerns. "

"The property had everything you needed on site! We only needed to supply the food! Our kids and grandchildren loved swimming. We even had a manatee come to our dock almost every day! It is by far the best property that we have stayed at. I have never seen Florida in that way. Now I understand what Old Florida means. Absolutely beautiful! Definitely plan on returning."

"Definitely a great place to stay, I would say the area has some hidden gems. The river is great, but with a big family we went to Roger’s Park which I highly recommend along with Aripeka Sand hills which was a bonus adventure. Everyone morning we sat out back and watched so many species of fish just pile through the canal. Kids won’t forget this one."

"We had a great time and the house has a great layout for a couple families. My 12 and 8 year old paddled all the way from the spring head back to the house in their own kayak. Kevin is an amazing host. We appreciate the early check-in, extra supplies (garbage bags, dish soap, shampoo, salt, pepper, and other pantry items, kayaks, paddles, floats and so much more) It made it easy to settle in. He is very responsive to all messages. Thank you so much!"
