"Great cabin in the woods, super close to Talkeetna. I loved how close it was. Talkeetna was our favorite town. The bunkhouse was great for our boys, the fire pit with wood was also wonderful! I also hiked one of the trails and they provided bear spray, which was awesome!!!! "

"This home is by far the nicest one we’ve stayed at on our many visits to Alaska!! It is immaculate and well stocked, down to the soft comfy blankets to snuggle under. The beds are queens and a king, which is hard to find, and bathrooms were roomy and stocked with shower toiletries. The hilltop setting makes you feel like you are in a treehouse; we loved sitting on the deck and listening to the birds. It’s a perfect location, too, just a quick hop into downtown Talkeetna and to lots of hiking...

"Very well equipped cabin. Clean and tastefully decorated. Both the bed and sofa were comfortable. We rented two other cabins in this trip and while this was the most expensive, it was totally worth and was the nicest of the three . "

"The bed was a little cozier than we like & pressed up against the wall, it’s hard to get up at night.It met all our needs for a night in Talkeetna."

"This was a very cute cabin that offered a remote location feel but close enough to town to go enjoy the historic town vibes. Water pressure I. The shower could have been better, but overall, a lovely place to stay. "

"Wow! This was our favorite of all the places we have stayed. The property was stunning. The cabin was so welcoming. We only regret we did not have more time to stay longer. We will come back again and again!!!"

"We had a wonderful stay. I we travelled to Denali Park which was a beautiful drive. We did have some incidentals but the manager handled quickly for us. Would reccomend this property. Downtown was very close also with great restaurant choices."

"House was cold when we arrived. Windows were open...I think to air out the cabin from the wood smoke smell. It smelled that previosly someone couldnt get the fire going (wet wood or poor draft). Once we closed the wondows the cabin warmed. Alternative heating to just using wood would be a good idea...especially on cooler days. Overall the host was great and the cabin cosy. "
