"Debra and Drew were very welcoming hosts. We used The Barn as a lauch pad to visit Chartwell and Knole. Perfect choice. The accommodation was beautifully decorated and impeccably clean. We were spoilt for choice regarding local eateries. We chose The White Hart for dinner and it was top knotch. "

"A very nice place to stay. This is not a tourist destination but the nearby area is very nice and worth a walk. There is a very nice pub at the hotel and we eat well. The room was very nice and clean."

"Our stay at the Mount Edgcumbe was genuinely exceptional. My wife wasn’t feeling well during our visit, and the manager and staff showed such warmth and care — nothing was ever too much trouble. "For us the location was very convenient. The room was clean and the location perfect for walking, with beautiful viewpoints very close by. It is off a busy main road but no noise issues. The building and decor are a bit tired but did the job and all was all fine for our needs."
