"The inn was lovely, but the flying ant, spider and beetle that fell on me in bed was unpleasant. The ac unit was not fully attached to the window so maybe they came in through the little gap but who knows. It is an old building so probably is easier for bugs to get in. Besides that though it wasn’t a bad experience."

"This is actually a motel that needs to be renovated. We were assigned a wrong room to begin with. When we booked, it was showing a room with a cooking stove in it, but we got surprised when they assigned us a shabby room with no stove top in it, the shower had low water pressure, and the beds were low quality. We spoke to the motel staff, but they refused to take accountability and change our room. The room had a strange odor maybe coming from a carpet. Won't be staying here next time."

"The place was great, very nice little cottage and nice staff. The only big issue was that the temperature settings in the rooms were locked to cooler temperature in the living space (requiring the use of blankets for eating and watching TV) and warm in the bedroom making it an uncomfortably warm temperature to sleep in. My partner tends to produce a lot of heat and even he found it too cold in the living space."

"I would like to speak with Expedia directly. The room that was advertised by Expedia was nothing like what we got. We had the room rented for 6 nights. Got to the place and first of all noticed the pillow case was soiled. And sheets had hair on them. There was a bad odour too. "The Dutch Inn is an older property but it is very clean and the beds are comfortable. The carpets have been removed and the floors were very clean. I went barefoot in the tile bathroom and was comfortable doing that. To me, cleanliness and comfy bed are more important than shiny updated fixtures. The pool was closed for repairs but we weren't planning to swim anyway. Each room has a mini-split heat pump so it's easy to regulate the temperature to your liking.
