Lake Norman Waterfront Penthouse Condo

The views of Lake Norman are wonderful. Sip morning coffee on one of two decks while watching the professional water skiers practice or maybe catch the amazing sunset on the top sun deck with your favorite beverage. This condo has 3 bedrooms, two with king size beds and the third with a queen size bed. There are 2 full baths, the master also has a jetted soaking tub. Sitting balcony off the living room and sun deck steps off the loft bar. The community pool is gated and private for the condo’s use only. Two restaurants on site, both with fabulous outdoor patios, couldn't be more convenient to catch an evening of live music on the waterfront. A Salon/Spa is our newest neighbor. Did I mention our building does have an elevator! One of the very few buildings with one and we're the closest condo to it! We have lake access for swimming and kayaking but the docks in the photos are privately owned and will not allow access.

Perfect location

This is 2nd time we have rented this place as it is perfect location and perfect size & set-up for our group. Plus the great views of the lake! It's also great to have 2 restuarants on the ground level, even if just want to grab a drink there. Food ok, but do have live music and

Nice Condo on the Lake

We really enjoyed our stay at the condo. It was clean, has a great view and close to stores and restaurant's. Vicki, the owner, was always very responsive and had good recommendations for things to do and restaurant's. .

Great Weekend

We had a place in Asheville reserved for the weekend. Of course the hurricane ruined those plans. We were beyond the deadline for finding a new place for the weekend. Contacted the owner and they worked with us to get into their property. The condo was spotless and so tastefully decorated. Kitchen had all the little extras such as spices if we would have cooked and coffee k-cups (which we didn’t use) but would have been nice if we had forgotten The property had beautiful views and 2 restaurants with music. Really wonderful time and great owners

Great condo for Davidson parents!

Great host awesome stay

The Condo was perfect for a weekend girls getaway. We each had our own room with plenty of privacy and there are also great gathering spots for together time. The loft is super cute for morning coffee on the balcony And the large living room and kitchen is perfect for meals and late night TV and games. The restaurants on site make it very handy for quick meals and the food was great every time we ate there. The house was amazing and went above and beyond to make our stay awesome.

The apartment is very clean with all amenities and a great view of the lake. There are 2 restaurants on site that we went to and enjoyed them both a lot. Would highly recommmend.

Nice condo, great location.

The condo itself is great - beautiful views of Lake Norman and great decor. It was supplied with plenty of essentials for our stay. Great location. The restaurant next door was delish! The host was kind and communicated well to us. Thank you. However, the condo manager was not very nice during our encounter. We did not feel welcome with our kids, as the unit below us did complain of the kids running. We travel a lot (6,1) and I do try to keep the noise level to a minimum everywhere we go. If you have young kids, I would just recommend somewhere else to stay. The elevator did smell of cat pee and the pool was also dirty. These complaints are not the host fault by any means, as like I said, the condo itself was nice. I just think the condo exterior of the condo needs a little maintenance. Just something to keep in mind.

Nice with a few reservations

We really enjoyed our stay! The condo was beautifully decorated and the view was amazing. The condo was clean but we needed to change burnt out light bulbs in two bedrooms and the bathroom when we arrived. The condo was warm when we checked in and it took several hours to reach a comfortable temperature. Every day, and sometimes at night, the thermostat automatically reset to the upper 70's so we returned to a warm condo. It took so many hours for the place to cool down. We were also disappointed to find that the top balcony was very dirty and the furniture was rusted and in need of repair. The umbrella was broken and laying on the ground and the floor and outdoor rug were very dirty. We had looked forward to spending time there as it was pictured to be a nice balcony.

A lovely place

We enjoyed our stay. The condo is very nice, just as depicted in the listing, and well-appointed with everything you might need for a week. The view is great and it is very convenient to all areas around Lake Norman. Two restaurants onsite were a bonus, plus it’s very convenient to nice grocery stores, shops and restaurants.

Great views

The condo is cozy, cute, and great size for 2 or 3 couples. Only issue we had was the toilet was plugged up in the shared bathroom when we got there and plunger in that bathroom was broken, so had to use the one from master bathroom. Also, 1 of the bath towels had grease stains on it, but there were others available. Not huge issues, and rest of the place more than made up for that! Beds very comfy and kitchen had all pots/pans/gadgets we could need! The top floor was really nice to sit on deck in evening, watching sunset. Also was great to walk downstairs to 2 different restuarants when didn't cook at condo. We enjoyed our stay here and would recommend it!

2nd stay at a gem

Location, location, location. We live close to this unit but our home doesn't have the luxury of a water view so we like to stay here where we can sit on the upper or lower porch and look out over the lake. We also like being able to park the car and just walk to either of the excellent restaurants. The unit was refreshed significantly from our previous stay with new flooring and paint. Of course it helped that the weather in early fall was totally awesome!

Labor Day get away

We so enjoyed our stay, the condo was beautiful, well, equipped, neat and organized and very comfortable. Beautiful location, right on the water with easy access to restaurants, stores in the highway. The description was right on the money, especially about that two beautiful decks. The host was extremely accommodating and very quick to respond to any emails with inquiries before and during our stay. we will definitely be back and would highly recommend this property
