"This was my second time staying at Geronimo’s guest house and if I come back to Lisbon, I will absolutely stay again. The guest house feels like a home away from home. The room was incredibly spacious, the bed super comfortable, and great shower. Lots of closet space for an extended stay. I was here for a work conference and it was perfect. Right next to the bus/tram stop and could walk to Pastel de Belem in the morning for a nata without the crowds :)"

"Even aside from the whole palace aspect, this was an immaculate hotel with wonderful staff and an exceptional emphasis on cleanliness. The housekeeping staff definitely deserve recognition and praise. A good location to boot. My only complaint is a minor one: the fresh orange juice at breakfast was so bland it was perhaps the only time I have tasted something that tasted negatively on the sweetness scale. A fascinating but disappointing experience in an otherwise amazing stay. Would stay again."

"Pros: there is a sign on street to identify hotel but once you arrive at check in desk no further sign so I was not sure I was at the right hotel. We took metro from train station. Easy access to hotel walking from metro. Air conditioning worked without issue- cooled off room. Room did not have long towels for shower but easy to get them from staff Cons: Ants in room- we didn’t report because we just needed place to sleep. small bug on bathroom sink. Shower head broken. "Newer beautiful hotel that is spacious, with art installations around every corner, generous amenities, and wonderful breakfast with buffet and ready-made hot options. Staff solicitous and friendly and location so convenient to the conference centre, but also easy walk to the river and nearby monuments. Lovely library and common spaces including the honour bar, just wish I had more time at the hotel to explore the complimentary adjacent galleries and courtyard! Something to look forward to...
