"En principio nos dieron una habitación que olía muy mal, lo comentamos y nos dieron otra, pero esta que olía un poco menos, no funcionaban la mitad de las luces,y la cama incómoda, había cables por el suelo, la verdad es que es un poco viejo, desde mi punto de vista no le vendría mal una reforma."

They offered to loan a fishing rod and lures to our grandson so he could fish in Montana Creek a few hundred feet from the cabin. A campfire and s’mores were available every night near the lodge allowing us to visit with other travelers. We ate supper at the restaurant and it was very good. The staff were wonderful they told us a few places to go while we were in Valdez. We stayed in 8 different places on our trip to Alaska and this was our favorite! "

"An attractive place to stay. We had an unexpected continental breakfast with good choices. A lovely housekeeper made us welcome and lent us her hose to enable us to wash our dusty car. A comfortable room. Three dining options and a mercantile store on the doorstep. Perfect location. "

"I loved the cabin we stayed in. It was perfect for us and our daily adventures. I met the owner and he was such a great and friendly guy. I asked him where I could find a bakery for blueberry muffins. He said him and his wife would make them. He told me to come up to the office at 0800 the next morning.
He made breakfast for me and my family which of course included blueberry muffins. Such wonderful people.

"Amamos el hotel, a la orilla del mar, tranquilo, sin ruido, cómodo, limpio, sin duda alguna regresaría. Los lattes de la cafetería del hotel estaban geniales. Lo único que no nos agrado fue que el día que quisimos comer en el restaurante del hotel nos negaron el servicio “porque el chef ya tenía mucha gente” aún cuando el lugar no estaba lleno."

"Muy mal servicio, 6 dias y no me cambiaron las sabanas ni las toallas del baño tuve que ir y decirle qué por favor me cambiaran las sábanas y me dieran toallas limpias, tengo unas ronchas en el cuerpo en diferentes lugares del cuerpo me tome fotos pueden no son picadas de mosquito voy al médico cuando llegue a Miami para que me digan y me confirmen que es y se las enseñe a la del Frondea si quieren se las puedo mandar, yo no recomiendo ese hotel a nadie "

It is not the Hilton but was perfect as a kick off to Seward (about a 30 minute drive). We ate at the restaurant for breakfast and supper and both meals were delicious. I would stay here again-the sheets were clean and the water was hot! I do not need much else."
