Centre Mundial de Mercat

Very clean room; friendly and professional staff. Disappointed that the hot tub does not work, yet standing water remained in it and me and my husband were tortured with mosquito bites. To make matters worse, I'm allergic so my memories of the wonderful other parts of the room and stay were overshadowed afterwards. The room is setup very well, very clean. The bathtub however, there was a piece broken so a huge gaping 3" diameter hole stares at you while you are bathing; a bit creepy. Our stay was only for 1 night. Check in was a little chaotic as there was no early check-in available and we had to wait over an hour for our room to be ready. The front desk staff kept on verbally blaming the housekeeping staff to us. I wish they were better versed to speak to customers... offer to take our luggage and gamble or offer a coupon or discount to a restaurant so we are not standing or sitting in the lobby just waiting and listening to all the other customer complaints... While it was worth the wait since we were upgraded, I would have loved a quicker check-in process. Our stay was during the middle of the week, so the pool was basically to ourselves; well maintained.
