"We had a problem when we first got there. Our key card would not work and we were fighting with the door for about 10 mins. Boyfriend went to go get another key and I see a woman peeking out from behind the curtain in the window. I asked her if she was staying in that room and she came to the door and we spoke. Felt terrible because we woke her. Boyfriend comes back around the corner with the original key card and the person behind the desk only to find out that yes that room was already given...

"First the positives. The room was large and clean. The bed was comfortable. Parking was fine.
I think the problem that I had with Spark is that it's listed as a Hilton facility. This raises expectations. Honestly, it's more like what you would expect from a nice Super-8 than a Hilton. The carpet and furnishings are very bare-bones. The pool is tiny. Breakfast is nothing to write home about. With the exception of two of the staff, most of the staff were just barely cordial. "607 Bay Inn is a beautifully renovated inn, exquisitely located in the charming, historically significant Beaufort, SC. The inn’s owner and staff are friendly, outgoing and create a warm and welcoming environment for their guests. The water views and convenience to downtown shops and restaurants could not be any better. My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at 607 as a memorable part of our 50th wedding anniversary celebration. We will definitely return!!"
