"OK so ..parking was good but tight .. To me the restaurant is in the wrong location..would have liked it if it was on the main floor where breakfast is served so you could have a view over the sea front while having you main meal ..rather than down below ground level .. sorry but the prices are a little high .. drink .starter .main ..half pint coke ..pate ..fish chips and peas for £32. 00 is high sorry that's my thoughts ..food was nice but still .. staff are a credit to the hotel."

"Very nice place. Staff was very helpful. Breakfast amazing. Proper classic English style hotel"

"Brilliant cheap and cheerful stay couldn’t have asked for more. In great location we’re only in the hotel to sleep and it was comfy!"

"The room was very warm even with the windows open as it was at the top of the property. A room fan was provided but it meant that there was a constant noise when it was on. The breakfast was really nice."

"Clean but a little dated hotel. Only one tiny bottle of shampoo / shower gel provided in the bathroom."

"Excellent staff committed to ensuring that the Cliff Hotel is one of the best three star hotels. Consistently good over a number of visits I have made."

"The bed was very comfortable. The staff was friendly and helpful. The restaurant food was just ok."

"Staff were all very helpful and chatty which was nice, nice cooked breakfast at a decent price, allowed us to leave our car in their carpark after checking out , which was apprieciated, will be back next year, thank you marine lodge"

"Photos don't do this place justice. I had a very comfortable stay in their cosy studio. Very clean. High quality bedding. Plenty channels on the smart tv. Fast reliable wifi and good cooking facilities."

"Lady who runs it was lovely very clean room smelt lovely room was a bit small and bed was not very comfortable but every thing else was spot on"

"When we walked into the room, we were shocked to see how small and dated it was. Believe me it was hard for two people to walk around, also the bathroom sink was in the bedroom which was so tiny and every time you washed your hands the water just went down on the floor. This guest house is no way 4star, it’s a deliberate miss representation. Please think before you book."

"It was not very clean dust everywhere"

"Very clean room staff were there when needed and always helpful breakfast was excellent very happy with everything thank you"

"Service throughout stay was very good, check in quick and with no issues. Room spacious and had all the amenities required. Breakfast and restaurant meals very good with great selection for both."

"Couldn't get hot tap to turn on in bathroom had a job with cold tap did manage to turn it on but had a job to turn off kept running so took several attempts to turn off"

"Booked 3nights, Only stayed 2. General condition I felt was poor. Macerator toilet noisy for most of night. Location is good though."
