"You couldn't ask for more. Central location, great customer service, restraunts and decor themed across the hotel. The room was a family room, which had a nook for a single bed giving people privacy. The room while not large is perfectly adequate with all the facilities you need. While we didn't dine in, but did have breakfast. The service was fabulous, as was the food. Parking is provided but can be awkward to manoeuvre once in due to the angle of the spaces. Highly recommend and will be back."

"Great pub/hotel/bistro in a beautiful peaceful village. Staff were extremely helpful. We had a wedding with so needed an early check-in and late return. Both were accommodated for. Room was clean, fresh. Continental breakfast was included in price. We also paid extra for cooked b/fast. Very nice freshly cooked, hot, good quality products. Nothing was too much trouble. We would definitely recommend the Star Inn and stay there again. Or even go for a nice meal. Give it a go ! "

"Lovely staff at this hotel The car park is through an arch which is restricted height for certain vans but the gates lock at night making it safe. Lovely beds and pillows and a great breakfast too"

"Stayed for 3 nights, the room was clean, the bed was comfortable, there was air conditioning, the accommodation is in a lodge, separate from the pub,we didn’t have breakfast, we had one evening meal at the pub, which was ok, although rather expensive for ordinary pub grub."

"Stay here at least once a month and they are always very helpful. The one only downside is the toilet paper they provide. I take my own as it is very infant school like paper. 😁 Clean rooms, bathrooms good and housekeeping are excellent."

"The hotel was clean and it had secure parking around the back. Breakfast is incorrectly advertised as online it says breakfast cooked to order, but in reality it is packaged croissants, apples and cereal. Not the warmest of welcomes from the staff. All round ok stay"
