"It was clean and tidy. Beds are very comfortable."

"The owners are really nice. So helpful with everything. If you need a ground level room book that in advance."

"Probably the best motel I’ve ever stayed at. Nice big room, very clean, very helpful and friendly owner and staff. Excellent bathroom and kitchenette. Netflix loaded on the tv and you don’t need to use your own login. Walking distance to Merivale shops and short Ubers to Christchurch city centre. Highly recommend and would definitely stay again"

"The cottage and surroundings felt like you were at a resort, not in the middle of the city. Cute little deck to have your morning coffee on. We had everything we needed in a rental. However, the decor and room overall were a bit dated, and the bed was too soft for us. The location was very convenient with cafes, restaurants and a grocery within walking distance. Staff were very nice, and check-in was easy."

"Beds were comfy and it was nice and quiet."

"Walking distance to Hagley Park, Botanic Gardens and CBD. (town took aboiout 30-40 minutes through Hagley Park) Accomodation was clean and tidy and the staff were really cheerful and helpful. Would well recomend"

"Convenient location. Full Sky. Great shower for disability."

"Great place to stay very convenient"

"I had a great stay in an upstairs studio room here (rm 15). It caught the morning and afternoon sun. I didn't have a rental car for this trip, the location of the motel is great. I enjoyed morning walks in Hagley park, it is an easy 2km flat walk to the city centre. Was easy to get a bus to other destinations. Lots of cafe, coffee, restaurant choices all near. The room has a little 'wear and tear' (fair for the age), but it was tidy and clean, good water pressure in shower. Appreciated having...

"Have stayed various times through the years. Aged now needs complete renovation now. Great position."

"清潔、空港送迎があり便利！"

"The motel was very clean and comfortable. Was a cold night had heating which was very welcome 🙏 Close to airport 🛫, easy for visitors to find and close to City. Enjoyable stay 😊"

"This is a rather posh hotel on a restored old college campus. Currently, the area houses art studios, shops, music/art classes, restaurants, food trucks and a Michelin star rated wine bar. The area is very walkable and across from an incredibly beautiful park."
