Beautiful Country Home located outside of Jacksonville with pool!

With two wineries located less than 2 miles away and the Britt Festival within a five minute drive you will have many options to have a fun getaway! The adorable town of Jacksonville is a 3 minute drive and has the cutest cafe’s and restaurants! The pool is beautiful and serene which makes for a perfect pool day with the family! I live in the cottage behind the home with my fiancé and my golden retriever named Lindy. I will be able to help you through out your stay in case you need anything!

Exactly as listed! Close to town, but far ebough out you could relax. Tons of space for our party of 12 to sleep, eat & relax. This old farm hoise still has a lot to offer.

We had an amazing time at Melissa's lovely home. It was clean, spacious and well stocked. There were so many welcoming touches that made us feel right at home. Melissa was quick to respond with any questions we had. We would not hesitate to return.

Beautiful Home and Environment

Booked this house for a one-night stay with 8 other friends and family. This is an older house with beautiful modern and rustic charm. Lots of room for parking multiple vehicles. Very spacious, clean, and comfortable house for a large group of people. The owner was very kind and quick to respond with any issues or questions that we had. Overall, a 10 out of 10, highly recommend.

Enjoyed our stay at this Central Point home

Our overall stay was pleasant. The home is beautiful, spacious, and nicely decorated. It accommodated our party of 12 well. We were welcomed with a sign at the front door with our name on it and found a lot of great games on the shelves in the living room available for family game night. The pool had seating for those not wishing to play in the pool. Pool toys and yard games were also provided. Our grandchildren loved viewing the cows in the pasture right by the property. The property also offers a lovely outdoor seating area with a gas firepit that we used each evening. We did find that the home wasn't equipped with sufficient wash clothes, hand towels, kitchen towels and dish rags. We also didn't find extra blankets or sheets available to us. We were there for a wedding and could have used an iron and ironing board but that was not on sight. The host did let us know of that ahead of time, so we did go aware of that. It seemed that the cleaning wasn't thorough upon our arrival (fridge, inside some cabinets, shower curtain in downstairs bedroom on pool side), as well as some non-working light bulbs. We experienced a plumbing issue in the shower of the downstairs main bathroom as water pooled when the shower was being used. For the price we paid, we expected it to be a bit cleaner and to not experience some of these things. The host is super responsive and very easy to get a hold of and work with. I'm confident she would navigate any concerns with her guests.

Family Reunion

Everyone had a great time. There was plenty of space for all of us to sleep and relax. We enjoyed the pool as it was in the 100's while we were there. Great place to gather inside and out. Would recommend it to anyone!!!

Hawkins Girls Cousin Reunion

What a cozy home & beautiful pool area! We couldn't have picked a better place! Hostess was very responsive to any questions we had. We enjoyed poolside & swimming. We fixed breakfasts & dinners in the spacious kitchen. Thank you so, so much! Highly recommend for large gatherings. 2 lower bedrooms a huge plus for elderly!!
