"Wow!!! What an amazing trip my husband and I had visiting Banff and staying in the Fairmont Gold in Banff Springs. The staff truly roll out the red carpet and made a very memorable experience. The food was great and the spa was lovely!"

"A few blocks down Banff Ave from the most crowded area, so quiet and peaceful. Very close to the IGA if you want to purchase grab & go items for a light lunch. I was able to find free street parking for my rental car. "

"The location is good. It’s in the middle of Banff. You could take a very inexpensive bus into town if you didn’t want to walk. . It needed tender, loving care to make it excellent. The staff was great!"

"Super friendly staff. The rooms were lovely, lots of space and very comfortable and clean. The hotel was undergoing construction, but I really only noticed it in small places. It was very crowded because there was a lot of tours coming through, but the location is excellent right downtown and near everything."

"This is a VERY unique property and even more so given the location to downtown Banff. The amenities are numerous and the staff are very knowledgeable and helpful with any needs you may have. Parking is very expensive on site, however, so take that into account during your stay and for your budget. If possible, select a room on the back side of the hotel to get a view of the mountains! "

"The location of the property is beautiful- very close to a scenic overlook you can easily drive walk or bike to. Close to hiking as well. Easy 15 min walk (downhill) into Banff- be aware the wLk back would be a steep uphill and take prob twice as long but the hotel provides free public bus passes so you don’t have to deal with parking in Banff (so busy!). Bus runs every 20 min or so. The room was as described, kitchen was great for convenience with a family and to save money on eating out....

"A little worn and dated. Upgrade room was stifling hot and the AC did not work. "

"The Rundlestone was excellent. The staff was very welcoming, helpful, patient and polite. The accommodations were exactly as advertised. The room was clean and had everything we needed. The pool and hot tub areas were clean and well maintained. I had an excellent stay and would highly recommend The Rundlestone if you’re planning to stay in Banff! "
