"The room was dingy, clearly hadn't been cleaned more than a simple sweep and wipedown of the counter tops. The floor was sticky, buckled, and the floorboards were sticking up, causing us to trip on more than one occasion. The room smelled like pet urine on one side of the room. The walls appeared to be mid-renovation with many spackled holes that hadn't been painted and appeared to have been there a while, with new dings/scratches still left to fix. "Breakfast is an extra charge. Used soap in bathrooms. No cream or half n half. Only tap water for drinking. No ice. Home is beautiful. Hostess very friendly."

"Poland Springs Resort had more than 1 Building however the Lodge was where we stayed and the Building & Rooms were very outdated. The bathroom sink was so clogged that it took approximately 10 minutes to drain. The carpeting was Brown which hid stains & had a musty odor. The locks on the Room Doors were from the 60’s - 70’s. On a 1-5 scale I give my overall experience a 2."

"The room was clean and comfy beds were like sleeping on a cloud and those pillows omg they are amazing id love to buy 4 of them if u tell me where to buy them lol Sunny and Gary the 2 men at the check in desk were so nice nd helpful. The food was a big yes on the buffet buy the night before I got lettuce wraps and they didnt give me the sauce so I had to walk all the way to the other end of thw 2nd floor then down the stairs then down another long hall to the restaurant.. got my sauce went all...
