Openly want to be sensitive but there was trash and people sleeping in the foyer every night or in tents out front. The place was ok inside as well. On the positive it is close to rail station and city centre."

The staff quickly had maintenance free it up, but byelaws require a safety chain be permanently attached to it so that it can only be raised about 4 inches. Given that temperatures were the hottest in decades that meant the room was too hot to get a good nights sleep. "We did not even look inside the room. The staff was not available to cancel the reservation could not be found. And the property was so dirty on the outside of the building that was all you needed to get a idea of the hotel it was loaded with fast food garbage piled up in front of the office and scattered all over . We stayed all over Scotland and it didn’t matter how old a place was it was clean and maintained. Expedia should be embarrassed to have them on the website and with a great rating so...
