"I had an incredible stay at this property. I was only here for a day and a half, but the hosts gave me great recommendations for restaurants and other things to do. The room was extremely clean and well-furnished. The hosts were very friendly and accommodating. The location cannot be beat! Right by the river so you can watch sunrise or sunset every day. It is also very secure. I would definitely stay here again!"

"My wife and I stayed in the apartment for 4 nights and we both absolutely loved it. Perfect size property for 2 maybe 3 people. Very clean and well taken care of. Walk out your door and you’re right in the heart of Porto, very close to the river and popular tourist areas. The condo is very well sound proofed that you don’t hear anything on the streets at night. I highly recommend staying here."

"The hotel was located on a slope . If you call a taxi, they will be able to go up the slope . My daughter and I call Uber and we had to literally haul up our luggages up the slope to reach the hotel . So that really take away the nice experience I had staying at the hotel ."

"The property was amazing! It was quaint, cozy, and beautifully decorated. A moody atmosphere with a ton of staff. The pool was private and secluded. Highly recommend as it was conveniently located to a busy shopping and Restaurant area and a easy Uber ride across the bridge to the city center."

"The hotel is excellently located, very near to all the tourism spots. Very close to the river. We got a very warm and friendly welcome, and our host sat down with us and helped us plan our trip, suggesting where we could visit each day. We found this really helpful, having someone with local knowledge helped us shape and plan our stay better. The room was very comfortable. It wasn't a big room but was everything we needed, including a great coffee machine. The shower room was fantastic. ...

"Everything was absolutely amazing. The staff was exceptional, location is perfect to walk out and walk the bridge or even the path by water at Vila Nova Gaia. The pool roof top and restaurant have such amazing views. The breakfast buffet is really worth it. One thing I’d recommend is to reserve your parking as soon as possible when you book as they have very limited parking space on site."

"Outstanding property in the heart of historic Porto within walking (albeit a lot of hills in Porto) distance of most attractions. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Historic building on one side and more modern part on the other. We stayed in the historic part and woke up to seagulls and church bells in the distance as well as choirs on Sunday morning. Food is very good with a representative menu of Portugal including the salt cod and that heavy sandwich shown in Anthony Bourdain’s visit...

"Gran Cruz House is a beautiful boutique hotel right on the river. We booked it especially for my spouse’s birthday. He wanted to be close to the water with a water view and Gran Cruz House delivered. From initial booking, staff were responsive to all my queries and when we ran into airline flight cancellation issues, they were supportive and helpful. Antonio checked us into the hotel when we finally arrived one day after we were supposed to arrive. He was professional, helpful, and friendly....

"If you enjoy renovated historic houses, you will love Mo’s House. The house is beautifully restored with so much character and the room we were staying in was rustic and beautiful with a high ceiling and beautiful view of the Promenade. Delicious breakfast is served in the morning and the location is close to everything! I highly recommend this place."
