"This group was made up of 7th-12th graders from our classical Christian school (and adults). Our school has a house system and has an ongoing competition, and this group of boys won! This house was selected for their retreat, and they thoroughly enjoyed the house and their time up north. The chaperones said the homeowners were easy to contact regarding access and if anything came up. Thank you for a great retreat! We would highly recommend this home for any large or small groups!!"

"Check in was super easy. The property descriptions were perfect and we had no problems settling in. There was a lot of room in the upstairs sleeping quarters, and we all felt comfortable. We had an emergency during our stay, and Heidi and her family were very gracious, welcoming us in for a little while until all was settled. "We had a lovely stay at the cabin. The front porch is perfect for a relaxing moment of peace. There is a long staircase to the lake, but the clear, calm waters are worth the hike. The house is well stocked with games and activities for families. There is a large front yard as well. "

"First time booking a Vrbo! Stressed in the beginning about when or how to check in not realizing at the time it’s normal to get that information just hours before! Worked out great for the group size we had (7 Adults). Parking was tight, but manageable, A/C units in most of the rooms was huge with it being 90 all weekend, everything worked and was clean! Wasn’t fancy, but it got the job done with being in a great location with what we had planned! I would recommend and book again! "

"This house was clean, welcoming, had more "staples" supplied than most others we have been to! They were very communicative, obviously took pride in their service! Will definitely visit again! Highly recommend!"

"We stayed here during a recent trip to Grand Rapids and unfortunately left disappointed. The property had several issues with cleanliness — there was an unpleasant smell, the floor vents and spaces under furniture were dirty, and dust had built up behind the drapes. Towels were scarce, there were no mattress covers, and the kitchen had a random hodge-podge of items that made cooking difficult. "The kitchen had everything you needed for cooking. Three different styles of coffee makers made the mornings easier. Beautiful lake with paddle boat and kayak provided. Very comfortable beds. "
