Little House, Cute, Cozy Artist Cottage

Welcome to Little House, a charming and private cottage located at 809 5th Street, just a short walk from the quaint downtown area. This cozy one bedroom cottage features all the comforts of home. It has been lovingly maintained by the owners, who are local artists. The house includes a mix of antiques and new furniture, as well as many of the owners unique pieces of art. French doors in the master bedroom lead to a deck overlooking the private, shady back yard. There's off street parking and even room for a boat trailer.
Start your day relaxing on the back deck, sipping coffee, or listing to the birds, or sit on the front porch under the canopy of the ancient oak, dripping with Spanish moss.

Absolute Gem!Our stay at the Little House in Cedar Key was an absolute delight, and it honestly ranks as one of the best and cutest rentals we have ever stayed in. From the moment we walked through the door, the "Artist Cottage" vibe felt so welcoming and thoughtful. It is perfectly decorated, making the space feel both cozy and inspiring.The cottage is tucked away in a wonderfully quiet neighborhood where we felt completely at peace, yet it still had every single thing we could have possibly needed for a comfortable stay. It’s rare to find a place that feels this well-loved and intentional. We enjoyed every minute of the quiet atmosphere and the charming surroundings—we truly didn't want to leave! If you are looking for a peaceful getaway with plenty of character, this is the perfect spot.

The Little House, on the exterior, attracted us. Upon entering, we were immersed in a wonderful visual plethora of original art, books, kitch and collectibles effectively distributed throughout the house which contributed to our overall intrigue and enjoyment of this environment. The house was clean with ample amenities, located in a residential area but within walking distance to the center of town. Mike and Cindy, living nearby, introduced themselves to us and confirmed that their accommodations would meet our utmost expectations. This place is a little gem for a couple people to stay in Cedar Key. Would not consider staying anywhere else in our next visit to this wonderful part of Florida.

This is a wonderful cottage. The hosts have put in hard work and a lot of TLC to make it comfortable and welcoming. It was perfect for my husband and I. Little House was clean, quiet and private. We’d stay here again in a heartbeat!

We loved this little house. We were celebrating my birthday weekend, but a couple of things would have made the place earn five stars. There is no oven, which created a problem for my girl friend to bake me a birthday cake, and the shower is extremely small. In the e-mail the host mention that they do not charge a cleaning fee and I was charged in my bill 50. The house is very clean and comfortable and we did enjoy our visit.

Great Cottage

Easy walking to anywhere you’d want to go - most places downtown are 3-4 blocks (Tiki Hut us as far as we ventured and about 1 1/4 mi each way)Cottage is perfectly appointed and neat as a pin. We didn’t want for anything. Grocery market is still closed so bring food if you intend to cook. Kitchen is well equipped. We’ll be back!
