"The home was comfortable and spacious. The location would have been great if it were not for the smell of rotten eggs that permeated the 2nd bedroom and the outdoors. We understood that it was because of the marsh on both sides and decomposing seagrass but it made the outside unusable and the stay in the second bedroom miserable. "It was great to have the beach to ourselves and be within walking distances to shopping, groceries, restaurants we barely drove our rental at all. Highly recommend walking down the beach. "Our stay was perfect! The hosts take immaculate care of the property! The sand was even raked every morning before sunrise. Arlene even helped us with laundry. The room was comfortable and the little kitchenette was very convenient. We spent an entire day just relaxing on the property. Arlene was kind enough to even walk with us to the bus stop and gave us great advice. We will definitely be back as we feel we made friends for life. We appreciated everything! "

"We stayed for 5 nights in this beautiful house right on the beach. Our children (6,9,11) loved going outside the back door and playing in the water, the sand, and lounging in the hammock. "The house was perfect for each family to have their own room - so spacious and comfortable. The teens shared the beds in the loft. We used the sea kayaks and the pool many times and loved the upper deck at night.Shelley and her crew greeted us upon arrival and got us nicely oriented to the house. We also used Shelley to prepare 6 meals total which made our vacation even more relaxing. The house is walkable to a few bars/restaurants but we drive to the grocery and options in “downtown” Hopkins."
