"We cannot fault our stay. Arrived late but Pascale had rustled up a 3 course meal for us….! Really friendly, beautiful setting, quiet. Very comfortable bed, great breakfast (as you would expect from a pastry chef). You eat at a table with the other guests in our case from Belgium and the Netherlands and much laughter was had alongside several different languages! The photos do not really do it justice Merci Pascale "

"We loved this place. Mary (spelled English but pronounced French) is delightful. The property is her house and has only a very few rooms available. But our room was much larger than anywhere else we have stayed, had a larger bathroom than most places, and even had a shared kitchen. It is in a very quiet neighborhood, but there are cafes around the corner, and everything in Amboise is just across the bridge."

"The grounds are exquisite! What an estate to be part of even for a short period of time. Staff are professional and helpful…I’m coming back for sure."

"What an incredible coincidence! We stayed at this same hotel in the same room 8 years ago! Last time, the little bed in the corner wasn’t necessary for a couple, but this time we came with our 2 year old son who loved sleeping in his first real bed! The new indoor pool is a luxurious addition since our 2016 stay and this time we splurged for the in-room breakfast, which was so copious and delicious that we haven’t been hungry for the rest of the day! More than worth the additional charge! "

"We had a great stay, although unfortunately we didn’t have time to make use of the spa facilities. The room was really clean and beds were nice. Staff was nice and very helpful. The food was amazing! "

"We only stayed one night; wished we could have stayed a week! This is like a castle; beautifully appointed and the grounds are gorgeous. A truly unique experience. Also the beds were comfortable and the shower worked fine; and our host was perfectly cordial."
