"Despite the record heat, the AC kept the cabin cool and the lake was a great way to cool off outside. Loved the historic but well equipped kitchen. The only comment would be there is no internet or cell service. But for me that is a plus."

"We had a wonderful time. The house was beautiful and clean, very comfortable! Beds were comfortable, kitchen had everything we needed and even though there was no A/C, there were ceiling fans and other fans to keep it cool enough. Overall it was a very nice place. "

"Clean, quiet, simple and cute in a quiet neighborhood with beautiful woods to the west. Would definitely stay again. "

"Everything was as advertised"

"We had a great time! We were originally planning to go tent camping and due to thunderstorms in the forecast we canceled that reservation and found this cabin available. We are SO glad we did! The cabin is small but very much everything we needed. Yes there were cobwebs and spiders and the cabin is not fully updated but truthfully, I believe if it was - the charm would be lost! I believe the owners live across the way in a home on the property and they were kind enough to provide us with dry...

"We had a great time at the cabin. It was very clean and well maintained. The hosts made sure there was ample water and firewood.The property was beautiful with plenty of options to keep you busy.Bugs were definitely bad, but wearing the right clothing and using bug spray, worked well.I did find some ticks on my dog, but this is the woods and it’s to expected.I will definitely be back!"

"Very nice accommodations with nice surroundings by the river. It was so quiet at night and no nearby road traffic to bother either. We enjoyed visiting Timm's Hill and Big Falls County Parks, which were recommendations from our host. "

"Plenty of space for everyone and a back yard you cannot beat. We all enjoyed our stay! Dog friendly and good communication. Would stay here again!"

"Clean, with great amenities for our fishing trip. Exactly as pictured and a good fit for our party of 6. Upstairs bathroom a big plus, tho water pressure limited showering up there. Responsive and helpful host. So glad we found this listing!Panfish aplenty in mid July.... Didn't see a bass or a muskie but did land a nice pike! "

"Tasha has a beautiful home and property. We were very impressed with the accommodations she made. We especially loved the beautiful views of the animals and the sunset at night. We will for sure be back if we are in the area! "

"We have stayed at this property twice in different size units. The 2 bedroom unit is perfect. Kitchen is fully stocked with all the necessary utensils. The unit is exceptionally clean. Will stay there anytime we are in Phillips. "

"The house was large and airy, and immaculate. The kitchen was very well-stocked with every kind of utensil, pot, pan, and dish. We enjoyed watching humming birds, turkeys, deer, chipmunks, herons, goldfinches, mourning doves, and squirrels. The yard was large enough for leisurely walks with our dog, and although we didn't use it, the fire bowl was beautiful. I can't recommend this rental enough!"
