"The house is situated on a beautiful lot with a man-made pond and apple orchards. The house itself is a little weary. Much of the furnishings are thrift store finds and could use some refreshing. We had issues with the WIFI right from the start and there is poor to no cellular service depending on where you are in the house. Communicating with a property management company was extremely frustrating as you are passed off from one representative to another as well as receiving multiple text...

"My family has stayed here 2 weekends and it was perfect for us. Great location and perfect area to relax. Our dog enjoyed swimming and we enjoyed fishing. Great communication with manager also. Look forward to staying here again!"

"The location is beautiful - a long frontage on Lake George. The condition of the property is, literally, pristine. I am not sure how it manages to be so perfectly maintained and still look like a traditional lake resort. We could not have been more pleased."

"What a great place to stay close to Middlebury college. My wife and I were visiting our son at Middlebury college. We brought our Labrador Retriever. What a great dog friendly neighborhood! Brian was very accommodating and even let us check in hours early. It was great to have a fenced in yard. It's a quiet and beautiful neighborhood! We will always try to stay here when visiting our son. "

"Wonderful stay at Carolyn’s Cottage. House was spotless on arrival and beautifully decorated. Comfy beds, nice towels and linens. Kitchen was well stocked with everything you could want. The deck off the family room has nice furniture for outdoor dining and a great grill. The star of the show was the beautiful yard and lakefront. Great views and sunrises. The Adirondack chairs and fire pit were lovely for morning coffee and evening wine. Also super convenient to town if you find you need to shop...

"Everything was spectacular. It is a place where you can write a book. Everything was perfect. Thank you for the wonderful accommodations. Down to the sweet nectarines left in frig with true half and half Fresh and good ole VT maple syrup. Honestly, just incredible. "

"We thoroughly enjoyed staying in the yurt. It was a fun filled learning adventure and reminded us of how to wisely regenerate our resources (i.e. composting toilet) for supporting the land. It was a beautiful and peaceful location. "
