Easy booking. Not too far from the city centre and attractions.

Staff very friendly and nice. Extremely noisy. At first I assumed the windows were open. They were not! Broken sleep most nights from noise. Breakfast ok except for large pile of rotting bananas every morning. Fire alarm went off briefly. Called reception, they said no issue. Went off again. Went down to reception where a few of us were told off for not vacating. Staff on desk did not seem to know what to do. No message or reassurances from staff when we went back to our rooms. Left me feeling uncomfortable on personal safety. Before noise and fire risk my impression is it's 3 star in central location with friendly staff. 3 star because run down and in need of repair and painting

While the lobby and other shared areas are beautiful and well-maintained, the room had a dormitory feel - ie: minimalist and not particularly welcoming. The folks at the breakfast place are lovely - above and beyond, but the front desk staff are 'meh'. If you get laundry done, you must go and collect it at the front desk. Just fyi. Don't wait like I did. Also, they provide bath and hand towels but no washcloths. All of that said, if you like a sauna and cold plunge, onsite bar and restaurant, plus a great location and you're finding the The Address price is right for you, by all means book it. That's what I did. I spent very little time in the room. Agyle and St. Vincent Streets, Kelvingrove Gallery, The Necropolis...are walkable or a short uber ride. Some of the best shopping 'Style Mile' is right out the front door.
