A taxis worst nightmare . I got charged extra for every taxi I took JUST because of the road . They all informed me that all taxis forbid the road that’s how bad it is . Just a heads up if I would’ve known I wouldn’t have booked because it was stressful . Other than that great stay !"

"Overall we loved it, though it would have been good to know that you can't drive to the hotel if you don't have a proper 4WD as it is located at the end of a long and steep tarished road. Luckily the hotel offers an transport service for the dirty road between 8am and 5pm. They also offer food(preorder only) and drinks at the bar. The staff was very nice and always helpful. "Great place to stay in Portsmouth! Close to the beach and food. 10ish min drive to cabrits. ~30ish min to batibou beach & red rocks. Clean room and someone came to clean everyday. Typical dishes in the kitchen but could have more (scissors), super convenient tho! A restaurant owned by hotel right at the entrance & convenient. We did not try their breakfast though. Some noise from animals can be heard in the morning. We went during their renovations starting ~9ish am but wasn’t an issue for us...

The mountain views and peaceful atmosphere truly gave that relaxing “getaway” vibe while still being close enough to enjoy the festivities.
