In dem Haus haben wir alles gefunden, was wir brauchten. Eine tolle Ausstattung, die seinesgleichen sucht! Insektengitter und Klimaanlagen sind vorhanden ebenso ein guter, stabiler WLANzugang. Durch einen weitgehend unbekannten Fußweg, den uns Angelo zeigte, kamen wir an einen schönen und einsamen Strand. Allein der Aufenthalt in dem wunderschönen Garten mit tausenden Kakteen und mediterranen Pflanzen war ein Hit! Katzen (besonders Grigetta!)und der Hofhund leisteten uns Gesellschaft. Wegen der Alleinlage braucht man dringend ein Auto. Wir wurden von Franca und Angelo herzlichst aufgenommen und so durch unseren Urlaub begleitet. Sie standen uns stets mit Rat und besonderer Hilfe zur Seite, wenn wir das brauchten. Vielen Dank dafür!Vielen Dank für die Großzügigkeit gegenüber den Gästen.Vielen Dank für das schöne Ambiente, das für die Gäste bereit steht.Vielen Dank, dass wir so viel über das süditalienische Leben erfahren konnten. Proprio una bella vacanza!

Abbiamo trascorso nella casa di Angelo e Franca la seconda quindicina di Giugno, scelta conoscendo già lo stupendo mare e attratti dalle foto del giardino circostante. Giunti a destinazione, abbiamo avuto la sensazione di entrare in un vero giardino botanico con tantissimi fiori e profumi e soprattutto tante piante "grasse " di tutte le specie e dimensioni, tanto che al mattino aprire le finestre era come immergersi in un paradiso di colori!! La casa è dotata di tutti i comfort ed è ineccepibile anche sotto il profilo della pulizia. Che dire poi dei padroni di casa? Angelo, Franca e i loro figli sono assolutamente i migliori incontrati in tanti anni di vacanze: presenti con discrezione, disponibilissimi, generosi e nonostante il breve periodo trascorso insieme, anche affettuosi!! Insomma, un soggiorno molto piacevole che consigliamo a tutti!

La casa è curata nei minimi dettagli così come il meraviglioso giardino con fiori e piante grasse di ogni tipo. L'accoglienza di Angelo e Franca, la loro disponibilità e l'empatia che ci hanno riservato fanno di questo luogo un posto speciale, in cui è bello pensare di poter ritornare.

Spannende Lage und super-freundliche Gastgeber

Wir haben mit unseren zwei Kindern erholsame zwei Wochen an diesem Ort verbracht. Der Strand ist nah, gutes Essen ueberall zu finden und der Garten wunderschoen. Die Gastgeber haben uns sehr freundlich empfangen und immer wieder mit Tips und Anregungen geholfen, um unsere Entdeckungsreisen auf der Insel zu planen. Die Wohnung ist schnuckelig klein aber mit allem eingerichtet, was man so benoetigt. Das Haus liegt ungestoert weit weg von der Strasse oder anderer Laermquellen, was bei uns oefter zu laengerem Ausschlafen fuehrte. Die Gegend ist sauber aufgeraeumt; was man nicht von allen Orten sagen kann, die wir besucht haben auf der Insel. Und die Staedte Menfi und Mazara sind gut erreichbar. Wir haben es auch genossen in den alten Ruinen der Tempel von Selinunt herumzukrakseln. Fazit: der ideale Ausgangsort um West-Sizilien zu entdecken und erholsame Ferien mit Kindern zu geniessen.

Ein paradiesischer Ort

Wir hatten eine wunderschöne Zeit an einem paradiesischem Ort. Die Wohnung ist schön, sauber und gut eingerichtet. Und was noch wichtiger ist, die Lage mit dem unfassbar schönen Garten und den sehr freundlichen und unglaublich hilfsbereiten Gastgebern, war noch besser als wir vermutet hatten. Sehr empfehlenswertwert!

Traumhafter Urlaub

Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt. Die Lage ist so unglaublich idyllisch und ruhig. In wenigen gehminuten kommt man zum Stand wo man die Einsamkeit genießen kann. Dazu kommen unglaublich herzlich und hilfsbereit Gastgeber. Danke für einen unglaublich schönen Urlaub Franca und Angelo, wir kommen auf jeden fall wieder.

Paradise, truly fantastic

The house in Menfi is superb. We stayed for only one week and wish it had been longer. Angelo and Franka are wonderful hosts. The house was very clean, cool and well equipped. It was everything we had hoped for but delivered much more. The gardens are incredible and Angelo was kind and gave us a tour - he has over 500 varieties of cactus. We felt instantly at home and so relaxed. Itwas quiet and peaceful, there is only nature and a gentle breeeze here. The sea is a short walk away through the fields and the beach had only a few people other than ourselves! The beach is pristine and the water warm and inviting. Angelo and Franka live in the adjoining house and were so kind to us during our stay. We were treated like family and they have inspired us to learn Italian for when we return. The nearest town is Menfi but the house enables you to visit so many places. We would definitely recommend this accommodation for anyone who enjoys true peace and tranquility in such a marvellous location. Thank you so much to Angelo and Franka for allowing us to stay in such a lovely house David and Claire

Erholung garantiert!

Die Villa Menfi ist ein Kleinod. Komplett und zweckmäßig eingerichtet in einem wunderschönen Garten gelegen, nahe an einem einsamen Strand und ein prima Ausgangspunkt für Unternehmungen. Wir haben uns dort während der einen Woche auf Sizilien mit frühlingshaftem Wetter und blühender Natur sehr wohl gefühlt. Franca und Angelo sind ausgesprochen herzliche, aufmerksam und in allen Fragen hilfsbereite Gastgeber. Danke - wir kommen gerne wieder! Michael und Evi

Herzliche Gastfreundschaft und schöne Lage!

Angelo und Franca mit ihrem schön gelegenem Ferienhaus wurden uns von Freunden empfohlen: wir sind super begeistert! Die beiden in ihrer Herzlichkeit und Gastfreundschaft haben unseren Aufenthalt bereichert! Wir wurden mit Obst und Gemüse aus dem eigenen Garten verwöhnt und der schöne Naturstrand ist in 10 Minuten fußläufig zu erreichen!

Beautiful, relaxed holiday by the sea

We had a wonderful time staying here with our 5 month old baby. Angelo and Franca were so kind and went well out of their way to make us feel comfortable and help us get our bearings in the local area. The apartment is simple and good quality, with lots of outside space. It is attached to the host's house, so they are nearby to help, but feels private, and the cactus garden is spectacular. It's really wild here-on the short walk to the sea we saw snakes, lizards, and lots of insects, as well as all the cats and one very big dog at the house-very exciting for the baby. We will miss sitting out listening to cicadas and, on a windy day, the sea.

A great place to enjoy nature, sea and amazing hosts

We have just stayed a week at Angelo's and Franka's house. I would highly recommend this place everyone who likes nature, wants to stay in a calm place and swim at the beautiful beach with no people at all (well, may be 8-10 people you will see there somewhere faraway in August). The owners of the house live in another part of the house. They are ready to give you any advice or help that you need but at the same time they are respecting your privacy. They are one of the kindest people we met and we would like to meet with them again and come to their place. Our children are talking about the cats and dog that live there - they were paying with them all the time.

Séjour inoubliable !

Maison d'une propreté absolue, fonctionnelle et équipée. Ici vous êtes accueillis avec un panier de légumes du jardin et de l'huile d'olive. Ca donne le ton de l'extrême gentillesse et générosité de Franca et Angelo. Ils prennent soin de vous, tout en restant discrets.. Le jardin est très très sympathique, avec une variété de cactus extraordinaire, c'est vraiment à voir. Le lieu est très calme et aussi habité par les nombreux chats que les propriétaires ont recueilli au fil du temps. La maison est très bien située pour les lieux à visiter et les plages, dont une qui est à 15 mn à pied de la maison. Bon nous ne sommes restés qu'une semaine mais nous aurions volontiers passé davantage de temps dans ce petit paradis. Encore merci à Franca et Angelo de leur accueil, nous ne vous oublierons pas ! Pour terminer : nous recommandons vivement cet endroit.

Eine dicke Empfehlung !!

Diese Ferienwohnung ist wohl die beste, die wir jemals beziehen durften. Picobello sauber, funktional und komplett eingerichtet, alles ist vorhanden und funktioniert. Wohnküche, Bad, Schlafraum, Terrasse, dazu ein riesiges Grundstück mit Blumen, Kakteen, Zitrusfrüchten, Oliven und jeder Menge Kräutern, die den Gästen zur Verfügung stehen. Wir haben uns sofort wohlgefühlt. Gastgeber sind Angelo und Franca mit Hund Osso und Katze Grigetta - super-freundlich und hilfsbereit, aber gleichzeitig zurückhaltend und unaufdringlich. Wobei dies für Osso nur teilweise zutrifft … ;-)) Ein wahrer Glücksfall, wir würden sofort wieder Urlaub dort machen. Eine dicke Empfehlung ! Grüße von Martin + Christine

Ein besonderer Ort bei besonderen Menschen!

Nach einer Woche bei Franca und Angelo (nicht zu vergessen Hund und Katz, Orso und Grigietta) hatten wir bei der Abreise Tränen in den Augen. Diese beiden besonderen Menschen wussten immer, die perfekte Balance zwischen Verfügbarkeit und Privatsphäre zu wahren. Das Haus ist funktional eingerichtet und von einem Garten Eden umgeben. Der kurze Weg zum einsamen Strand vervollständigen das ideale Ferien-Ensemble.

Ein perfektes Wohlfühlpaket

Ein wunderschöner Ort, eine gut ausgestattete Unterkunft und sehr herzliche Gastgeber: Hier kann man ruhige Zeit mit guten Büchern verbringen, zu Fuß die einsamen Strände erkunden und mit dem Auto die Sehenswürdigkeiten der Region gut erreichen. Wer Ruhe und Entspannung sucht, ist hier genau richtig! Eine volle Empfehlung!

Optimal für Ruhe Suchende.

Wir haben eine schöne Ferienzeit verbracht.Die Unterkunft ist in eine ruhige Gegend placiert umgeben von Oliven Haine und Weinberge.Die Wohnung ist gut eingerichtet ,hat eine überdachte Terrasse mit Esstisch, Grill Ecke und Liegestühle.Vor dem Haus liegt ein schöner Garten mit Kakteen,Zitronen und Orangenbäume. Das Meer mit einsamen Sandstrand ist etwa 10 Gehminuten entfernt.Der Gastgeber ist stehts freundlich und hilfsbereit . Wir würden erneut ein Urlaub hier verbringen.

Eine kleine Oase in Sizilien

In der Villa Menfi ist es wunderschön, wir fanden wirklich Ruhe und Entspannung. Auf dem Grundstück gibt es neben unzähligen Kakteen allerlei Zitrusfrüchte und Obstbäume. Die Vielfalt, der Duft und die Pracht waren im September ausserordentlich. Franca und Angelo sind unglaublich herzliche Gastgeber, die uns gerne mit Ausflugs- und Restauranttipps weiterhalfen. Eine wunderschöne Bucht mit kristallklarem Wasser zum Baden liegt fussläufig ca. 10 Minuten entfernt. Wir kommen gerne immer wieder!

Il bellissimo soggiorno di fine agosto nella casa di Angelo e Franca merita sicuramente un commento. Avrei voluto scrivere qualcosa di originale ma, leggendo le recensioni dei precedenti ospiti, mi sono resa conto che tutto era già stato detto e scritto numerose volte. Non posso che riconfermare: la casa è accogliente e confortevole, l'ambiente è straordinario e Angelo e Franca (con tutti i loro simpatici animali) ti fanno desiderare di ripetere il soggiorno quanto prima. Grazie di tutto...torneremo!!
