"Rooms, lodges and restaurants outstanding. Food was wonderful. Our server at the Barton Grill was brilliant! This is a 5 star property and overall lived up to that. We had an issue with vouchers that were purchased for us as a gift. One staff at the golf course was somewhat...aloft...ok, curt but rest of staff and hotel staff were great. I do feel were somewhat shorted on the vouchers and left a sour taste."

"The location was perfect for our last 2 nights in Ireland; it is close to Trim and an easy drive into Dublin Airport. The gardens are beautiful and lovely to walk through. Killeen Castle and abbey are intriguing and can only be viewed from their exterior, but still amazing to see. Down the street is Dunsany Castle and tours are only available in the summer. "Excellent room and excellent hotel..good restaurant. Breakfast was v good with lots of fruit and usual chill English all buffet. Highly recommend this hotel...only issue is leisure club is bit walk away. The place is clean throughout n even during our stay the cleaned the fountain."

"The hotel is very dated even the elevator and use of actual keys to open and unlock the room door. The room was extremely hot as there was no air conditioning in the room and the temperature was above 23*C even went up to 26*C and the hotel only provided a small fan. The window barely opens to let air in, it was ver uncomfortable to sleep for the two nights we stayed there. The breakfast was fresh not a lot of choices as you order from the menu. The room was clean and the location good."
