"There's not much to say that I haven't said previously. We absolutely love this place. My wife and I stay here several weeks throughout the year and we're never disappointed. Great location, responsive host, and amazing views. It's the best deal around and also pet-friendly. "

Wish there were clear views of the river from the cabin but loved the quiet nature! Highly recommend staying here! Easy access to Crystal Falls, Iron River and all the parks in western UP!"

"Easy check-in process and good communication. Comfortable home which was updated and suited most of our needs. Great location. First evening was very warm in the bedrooms area. It got to 85 degrees outside. The portable AC unit in the living/kitchen area kept that area cool enough for sure, but did not really cool off the sleeping areas even with the doors open and turning it on upon arrival and keeping it on through the night. It would be great to have a secondary unit in the bedrooms for...

"Was an excellent peaceful location. Located in a cute little town. Was wonderful to wake up right next to the lake. Many windows to see the wonderful outdoors. Is close enough to everything, if wanting to head up to Michigan or other norther parts of Wisconsin. Will definitely be staying again. "

"Another fantastic week at the Homestead in the Beautiful Upper Peninsula of Michigan. We spent the week fishing, boating, playing games, eating and drinking til our hearts were content! This cabin has made us so many memories and we will be back next year for sure! Tom is a phenomenal host and always gets back to me so quickly!!! We Love staying here! Once I win the lottery I will rebuilt the pool and clubhouse:) Thsts the plan anyway:)))"

"This was our second stay at this house. Once again the house was clean and comfortable. I’d also like to note that the last time we stayed here the steps to the fire pit were not very stable. This issue has been addressed and the stairs were MUCH more stable."

"Cozy place. Hyper clean. Location couldn’t be better for town access. Our host made everything easy to navigate. House rules were simple an, made for an easy stay. We stay up here several times a year for all activities. Usually with friends. Sometimes it’s just nice to have your own space. The Lighthouse is perfect for that. We’ll definitely stay here again. Looking forward to the upstairs project so, we can bring our whole clan!"

The place was stocked with everything you need for a comfortable stay. As the listing states, the internet and cell phone connection is not strong, so the DVD collection was clutch! We’ll be back! "
