Over all, I would stay at the property again. It was cute and had a nice outdoor area with firepit, surrounded by trees. There were a few things that need addressing, to give a fair & honest review.
The property itself is in a suburb of St. Louis and while you can see the Arch and downtown buildings, it is much further than I anticipated. However, it was only about a 20 min drive to downtown. It was nice to have the "quiet" to return to... however, we are not city people, so the space was preferred to relax in.
The home was very esthetically pleasing. Overall cleanliness was good, just some noticeable dust up high... not a big deal.
The matress was gross, would def recommend a mattresses protector/cover. I am glad I didnt take the sheets off prior to sleeping in it.
The comfort level of the mattress was superior. It needs a deep clean.
The bathroom tile was loose however made sure to communicate that they were in the process of fixing it. We were just careful and didnt mind that part.
I would rate this 5/5 if it wasnt for the matress and the distance. I assumed (my fault) that we were staying in downtown based on the description & when I received the property address it added abt a 45 min drive to our trip based on where we came from.
Nothing that would keep me from staying again
I appreciated the hosts quick response to helping with a wifi issue, the property grounds were well kept & beautiful, the home itself was comfortable.
Would recommend over a hotel any day.
