"We LOVED this place! Its everything you need in a place to stay in Door County. Large clean rooms, our son had his own room and views are amazing. Both pools super clean, and the chairs in the main lawn are perfect to watch the sunset and catch a tan. We will be coming back here! Worth every penny. "

"The view is amazing! The accommodations could use a little bit of work. The water is an issue. It does smell awful and you cannot drink it. The listing is misleading. It states there is a spa tub and there is not. With a little bit of effort this could be an amazing place. Our stay way good overall. I just wouldn’t stay here again."

"We had a great time at Andropolis with my intergenerational family. No complaints about the beds, the cottages are in good condition and very clean, and all as pictured. The property leading down to the shore is stunning and leads to perfect sunsets on the horizon of Lake Michigan. The host was more than accommodating, going out of his way to make sure all the amenities were fully supplied for our stay. We saw other guests occasionally, but only from afar. "I took my wife and in-laws here for the holiday weekend and out stay was amazing (with the dog as well). Our host and his partner were nothing short of helpful and accommodating. The place has a beautiful sandy beach for all of us to enjoy and offered us peace and quiet away from the busier towns in Door County. The house is dated but the pictures and listing are 100% accurate. We weren’t there for the home but the ambiance and location, which were amazing. Would definitely stay here again next...

"We all had a wonderful time, it is in a great location. Perfect place to relax! We had two older teen boys with us and even they had a great time! They lived in the kayaks, they fished from them and also from the dock. We all enjoyed the game room and yard games. The coffee bar was a nice little perk, especially on the chilly mornings. My husband and I took a bike ride around the neighborhood and everyone was so friendly. We would absolutely recommend the Lake Haus!"

"We stayed in GB for a weekend walleye trip. Six adult males. The layout is great! Between bedrooms and pullout beds/futons, all slept well. The games were great for a little competition. The attention to details was great. Communication very clear. Definitely would stay again"

"Overall very pleased. Some good advice would be adding a table on top deck outside kitchen slider. Also more hooks or places to put luggage on and hang towels. Outside deck has screws not all screwed in and can rip open bottom of feet if not fixed. Did have enough towels and sheets and all appliances with utensils which was great. "

"My husband, friends, and I loved this property and had a blast here. The place was much bigger than we needed. The arcade was a ton of fun for this group of 40-somethings children-at-heart. Have already shared this place with other friends and would certainly recommend to others for a memorable vacation. "

"It was so relaxing and cozy. Getting up in the morning and enjoying our coffee and breakfast on the wonderful porch and then heading to the shore to catch the views of the lake. We headed to many of the Door county sites during the day and again enjoyed the quiet back at the cabin. Even had a chance to extend and extra much needed vacation. "
