The beds were very old, uncomfortable and two people could not sleep on one bed without collapsing into the middle. There was no dish soap or sponge to wash dishes. I had to buy my own. There was no kindling or an ax to make a fire in the wood stove. There were no trash bags available and the street can was no where to be found. We also had a four wheel drive vehicle and had lots of trouble parking in the driveway.

The cabin is old but has character and charm. We loved the upstairs loft view for our morning coffee. Our little dog loved the loft too. Main bed was comfortable. Sheets and towels looked and smelled clean. A few suggestions:The electric lock could use some maintenance Better cookware. A cookie sheet.

Cabin not what is pictured

The cabin is sadly in quite disarray and being just plain let go. The property management company is NOT having this place cleaned properly what so ever. There are cobwebs everywhere, huge dust bunnies all over the floors, just every surface is filthy. Only lightly wiped down on main surfaces. I know it’s the woods, but this place had junk all around the home, easily picked up but not. Spent our 25th Anniversary here and wish we hadn’t. Fire pit falling apart, BBQ falling apart, shower almost impossible to fit in and I’m not a big girl at all. Just sadly a disappointing trip.

Cozy cabin in quiet woods

We loved staying in this little cabin. It’s definitely old but has plenty of charm. Definitely needs a good scrubbing and some TLC.

The cabin was very rustic, set up a hill with a peak view of Lake Cascade. It snowed, making the whole setting very beautiful. It was tough getting in and out of the driveway, and road up wasn’t plowed every day, but we managed. Three negatives: no firewood (despite reviews saying otherwise), very loud furnace, and no instructions for using the tv. Despite those, we had a great stay at this cabin!

Relaxing & Rustic

Quaint, rustic cabin in the woods with many recent updates. Internet available even though the listing says there's not. Well-supplied kitchen but no dishwasher. Loft area upstairs is wonderful for watching the sunrise with your morning coffee. Big deck w/tables, chairs, propane grill & fire pit. Firewood also provided which was a big plus. Very quiet & secluded even though there are other cabins nearby. We enjoyed our stay very much

Cabin in the woods

Cabin was cozy and comfy. However roads to cabin are extremely rough, don't recommend a car. They do need new mattresses and floors could have been cleaner. Great location for relaxing very quiet and peaceful Overall enjoyed our stay

Awesome place

Clean and cozy. Loved all the old antiques. Great fireplace and plenty of wood. Was able to drive around and take the dog out so she could play in the snow. The morning we left we put out some chips and bread and had 4 blue jays, robin, magpie and sparrows. BBQ worked and had some awesome steaks. We will defintely do this again.

This was a terrible experience for my family. We expected A clean and inviting stay. We assault initially the place was clean. However upon further inspection we found black widow spiders in the bathroom and bedroom.. There was mouse poop in the kitchen drawers, unclean clean pot holders, and a lothere's, and a lingering smell of dead mice in the house. A clean and inviting stay. Just the retreat we needed!

We really enjoyed our stay at the cabin it was a much needed relaxation and clarity space perfect for a few days get away. Everything was clean and organized and very spacious there’s a great vibe in the whole place great for writing and reading and journaling and just relaxing. The only thing that we didn’t really understand was where the garbage was supposed to go and we called the customer service line and still couldn’t find the trash receptacle but we just ended up taking the trash with us so next time maybe clarity more on the trash would be great. All in all it was an amazing time and We will be back!

Semi-Rustic Cabin

If you are looking to disconnect from the rest of the world and enjoy a Semi-Rustic Cabin in a beautiful mountain lake setting this is the perfect spot. Basic kitchen amenities, bathroom and simple bedrooms give you that log cabin feel with the comfort of modern amenities. Front deck and loft area overlooking the lake create magical spots to read or relax. Definitely requires all-wheel drive in the winter but that’s half the fun!
