"We all enjoyed our stay at the lodge. Was so peaceful kids enjoyed looking at the horses and having a spa onsite was an added bonus. Would definitely recommend the host was very welcoming and on hand to answer any questions. 5 stars "

"Very nice place, we felt like at home here. Everything was clean. The apartment has everything you need, you can cook, you can relax. The town is beautiful. Shops literally across the street. Cheap parking right next to the apartment. The owners are very helpful and answer all questions very quickly. I would definitely go back to this place and I highly recommend it. Thank you for a nice stay."

"We stayed here for 6 weeks . The apartment was cozy and had everything we needed. It is centrally located in the town and everything is within walking distance. Communication with Pete was easy and although we had no issues we knew if there was a problem he would be available and it would rectified. We would love to come back stay again ."

"Cant fault any aspect of our stay. From the beginning to the end it was excellent. Sarah is an amazing host and the communication from booking the property till the end of our stay was 5*. Antler Lodge is an excellent choice, we found everything we needed and more. We loved the theme and the little touches that made us feel at home. I would recommend to anyone.Thank you"

"We booked as we thought it was a weekend break with a hot tub. It has hot tubs on site but we did not have one as we had planned and was really disappointing. I called Sean the manager and did not feel heard or supported and he was not able to aid me in who to complain to as it could be Jose’s sons or berbo but he could not help so we had no options to discuss with anyone else. I shared with him after looking at reviews that this same miscommunication on the reviews had happened to others. I...

"I wouid recommend this property but would make sure other guests jnow there is nothing within walking distance and a car is needed to get ro the nearest pub/supermarket. The property was lovely but the blinds needed dusting, there were dirty towels in the washing machine and the laminate on the tables was taped up."

"We enjoyed our stay in the little apartment. It was in a great location for exploring the local area. It was well stocked with everything you needed for a comfortable stay. The only thing that let it down was that some of the crockery was quite worn & chipped. We had to wash it all before use as there were still remnants from previous guest's food which was disappointing. "

"This home was perfect for our family get away! It was clean and well equipped for us to spend our days out exploring but able to come back and prepare dinner. There was pizza and ice cream available on site as well. So comfortable."

"Shower had a blockage but was sorted within a timely manner, the studio was nice and cosy and met my needs, the room seemed cleaned to a good standard but could do with a duster on the ceiling as cobwebs are farming in one corner and I do think they need to deep clean the cutlery and utensils and cooking accessories as they was getting a build up of grime on hard to clean areas but from constant use which once a month or every two weeks depending on how busy occupancy is and that’s why I gave a...

"The cottage was cosy and had everything we needed. A minor niggle, but it was a bit cluttered with cushions and throws in the sitting room - the throws just slid off the leather sofas and the cushions were too big and too many, so were surplus to requirements. The location suited us very well, with a host of lovely walks and places to visit nearby. We had a wonderful break and can recommend!"

"We really enjoyed our stay! The listing said it had a hot tub but when we arrived it didn’t. I read after that the external company listed it incorrectly. The only down side was the property wasn’t cleaned very well - old used contact lenses around the desk and bedside table and there was hairs on the bathroom shelf. I did a quick clean myself and throughly enjoyed the rest of our week the location was perfect and our lodge was next to the pond which was lovely."

"Cottage was clean cosy and comfortable. It is about 15 mins drive to castle douglas. Owners live next door so easy to contact with minor issues. We were familiar with local area as visited frequently before."
