"Stayed for 2 nights for a weekend ski trip. Comfortably slept 6 adults and 2 children. Very rustic but had everything we needed. The biggest issues we had were the heater seemed to shut off on its own a few times due to it needing a new filter. We also noticed the shower seemed to leak all over the bathroom floor which was inconvenient and there was apparent water damage on the wood around the shower which indicated the leak has probably existed for a while. "We had a wonderful stay at Mark’s house by the river. The house has everything you need, has plenty of space for a family of four, and it’s literally right on the Ammonoosuc River. It’s also in a perfect location with so many outdoor adventures nearby. Mark is also a great host. We will definitely stay again the next time we are in the area. "

"Had a great time staying here for just one night. The run from the house to the garage was a little rough in the snow but it’s hard to complain when you’re sitting in a hot tub inside!"

"We enjoyed our stay at the log home. It was a very chilly weekend, but the cabin was nice and warm even though the upstairs bedrooms did not have heating ducks. There were electric portal heaters in the upstairs bedrooms which we only used for a few hours each night. We will definitely stay at the log home again!!"

"The unit we rented was much bigger than we thought. Full kitchen, 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, balcony. We stayed on the bottom floor built into the hill so the moldy, wet smell was throughout the hall to the elevators. The room was perfect tho. And tons of extra things to do (2 pools, great game room, spa, etc)."

"Very nice unit and property! Was a huge bummer that the indoor pool was closed and weren't aware until a few days after booking, as it was one of the main reasons for staying. Outdoor pool was heated though and open late!"

"We had a great time up North but stayed at one of the older buildings (1-K) and there were several outdated and noticeable issues. One of shelf inside the shower where you put the bar of soap was cracked…the bathroom doorknob came off where my handy wife fixed it and one of the closets was very spooky because it had a curtain inside the closet as a replacement for a wall. Other than that we are always pleased with our stay and look forward to coming back. Maybe we are offered a free weekend...

"The perfect launch pad for exploring the beautiful mountains of New Hampshire. Loved sleeping to the sound of the river, and there were plenty of places nearby for food and drink even though it was off season. "

"Dan was an amazing host that was super responsive and helpful throughout our stay! We had a great time in North Conway and surrounding attractions each day since they were just a short drive away. Immediately upon checking in, we were very impressed with the cleanliness of the house and were able to fully enjoy our stay! Thank you, Dan!"

"Beautifully updated, modern place to stay in a nice quiet neighborhood. Had a lot of nice touches, comfortable beds, and communication with the owner was great. Some minor housekeeping concerns, but overall a great place to stay! "
