"A charming time warp with modern facilities! Rooms filled with an eclectic assortment of curios and antiques made for a romantic dip into the past. "Absolute surprise: the property dates back to 1800 and has been remade anew. The photos do not say the INCREIBLE AND AMAZING THAT IT IS! It's like sleeping in a castle. "We needed a relaxing base hotel to stay in for the first five days in Puglia and Masseria Messapia was the perfect place. A large property, but with a very boutique luxury feel, our room was fabulous, with a lovely en-suite and an large external terrace. The towel rod was broken in our bathroom and we had some trouble operating the front gate. I also cannot comment on breakfast because we left too early to enjoy it. The whole place is unreal, out of a movie, and definitely worth visiting for the falcon and horse shows."
