"This is the type of place you book and when you get there you ask “this is it?”. The place looks like a motel. Not the Inn look they try to falsely advertise. The place is about as old as it is dusty. We got a smoking room and the smell was so unbearable we had to switch to another room. I’m not sure how a motel like this is not required to take more pictures of how the rooms look from outside. "We thoroughly enjoyed our second stay at the Hotel Providence and will definitely be back! The location is ideal, with great restaurants in both directions, and perfect for walking to the beautiful riverfront. Our standard room was spacious, tasteful and spotless, with an extremely comfortable bed and quiet heating/cooling system. The staff is wonderful—a big shout out to Sebastian at the front desk whose professional and warm hospitality was truly the icing on the cake!"
