"I liked the room and the comfortable king size bed. The coffee maker in the room was great, so convenient. The mini refrigerator in the room was a definite asset which I used for cold drinks and snacks. The breakfast was delicious, offering a large variety of options, all of them tasty and fresh. "Hotel was well maintained, breakfast area clean and the standard fare with waffles, cereals, eggs, bacon, etc. We had a bit of trouble getting hot water one morning, but other days were fine so probably some issue they had to get resolved."

"Let's start by saying that both Expedia and the property double charged my credit card bor the same booking. After contacting both sides neither one is accepting responsibility and claim i did not show up for my reservation even after providing credit card statement. Neither party can explain the reason for the double charge and continue to make excuses. Very disappointed especially with Expedia. Myself and everyone i know will no longer use their services. "

"I always stay at the Hudson Plaza Motel when I come into NYC. It's affordable, great value and located close to public transport easy to get to Jersey City and into Manhattan Every room I have stayed in has been clean and very comfortable. There is laundry on site and the staff are always welcoming and helpful "

"Please DO NOT book here. the people in the house were unaware we were staying there. it is a scam. Our room had insulation coming out of the walls making g it nearly impossible to breathe, "

"I booked this place for a family member and he spoke to the person prior to arrival. Once arrived at the location the person stopped answering the phone. This was last Friday 3/20/26 and now today they attempted to remove money from my account which they were declined because I used my Cash App card. This place is a scam and thank God I didn’t use my bank card."

"After I booked the place and got to the destination the owner changed the listing as not available. They ddid not call to notify me. I call the number they provided but the voice man was full. This location is not a hotel it is a house. Also the area of Newark seemed unsafe. It reminds me of the worst parts of Philadlephia. I was very disappointed and would like a refund. "
