"Expectations are key. If you expect this to be a dated lake cabin that's clean and comfortable with a great view but not perfect in every way, you'll love it. If you expect this to be a new modern lake "house" with the amenities of home, then you'll be disappointed. Any bad reviews appear to be people who wanted a modern lake house for a vintage cabin price. It has a window AC and plenty of fans. It was in the 90s and we were comfortable. "Was a very nice property...very homey, and had a beautiful riverside location. We were in for a family event, so we didn't use the water sport equipment available, but the kayaks looked inviting. Almost everything we needed was available. Cups, glasses, well equipped kitchen, towels, washer and dryer avail. Communication with the owners was proactive and helpful to checkin. Place was clean and we tried to keep it that way. If there was any down side, there was only one full bath and a half bath,...

"Nice property and home "

"Was a wonderful getaway with my family. Plenty of space for everyone, indoor and out. We especially loved the lower level game room, lots of fun for all ages. The deck was a nice gathering spot, we saw a mama turkey and her babies. Was nice to be able to prepare meals together without getting in eachothers way.There is a no shoes in the house policy, I would suggest bringing some comfy slippers as most of the house is tile."
