Mimi's Place

For a truly great beach experience, come stay at our oceanfront condo on Carolina Beach! You'll walk in and say "Wow" once you see the view. When you notice all the windows and glass sliders we have overlooking the ocean, you'll understand why we think this is one of the best condos on the whole island- there is no better place to enjoy your morning cup of coffee (or evening glass of wine) than our deck!

This is a third floor (top floor, Unit F) condo with expansive views of the whole beach. We have three bedrooms, and 2 full baths. We have a large ocean side deck, a balcony off the primary bedroom facing the inlet, and another balcony off the second bedroom with a side view of the ocean. The living room has a large wall mounted TV, Wi-Fi, a DVD player, and games for you to enjoy. The primary bedroom has a new (2023) king bed, the second bedroom has a queen bed, and the third bedroom has bunk beds- a twin on top and full size bed below, and all three bedrooms have TVs. The kitchen is fully stocked, and the unit also has a new (2023) washer & dryer for your convenience.

We are a little island but with lots of fun things to do: the NC Aquarium, Fort Fisher Civil War museum, our famous boardwalk, two fishing piers, Britt's Donuts (an institution since 1939), Squigley's Ice Cream Shop, and Freeman Park - where you can drive out and camp right on the beach. We offer free live bands, carnival rides, and fireworks during the summer and of course have some delicious seafood restaurants. What more could you want? You can book your reservation right from our website or, if you prefer, give us a call, and we'll be glad to help!

Check in is 4:00PM and check out is by 10:00AM
This is a no smoking, no pets property.
You must be at last 25 years old to enter into a rental contract
We provide the sheets, bath towels, pillows, bedspreads, and blankets.

Family Vacation

Views are incredible. The condo is surprising very large. It was very clean. Owners were very responsive to any questions we had for them. A lot of stairs and parking was challenging at times, but it was totally worth the location and the views!

Great view and access to the beach

The unit was nice and spacious, and in a good location- close to shopping and restaurants. The only somewhat negative (or more inconvenient is probably more accurate) things are:- the parking is not ideal as there is room for only two vehicles and maneuvering in/out of the designated parking spots is somewhat cumbersome when all units are occupied. There is also no available street parking.- there were no complimentary bars of soap or body wash in either bathroom so bring your own or be prepared to run out to the closest grocery store

Fun weekend!

Beautiful views from the living room! The property was very clean and as advertised. It’s a great location. Super short, walk to a local minimart. Walkable to the boardwalk. The parking is not ideal. We did get blocked in at one point. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay.

Phenomenal place & views

Mimi's place is perfect! It's so spacious and in impeccable condition. Loved the main living area, especially all the windows. Views are spectacular. As others have written, it is a third floor walk up unit, but I was happy to have the exercise. A1 Property Management were top notch with their communications. I'd definitely stay here again!

Beautiful Views

Beautiful property - the beach is right at your back door! We stayed over the Easter weekend and it was also our daughter’s 21st birthday. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook two big meals for the holiday/birthday celebration. There was ample room for everyone to have their own space and not be on top of one another. Beds were very comfortable! Bathrooms were updated, clean, and spacious. Definitely would stay again!

Great Stay at Mimi's Place

Our family had a great stay at Mimi's Place. We all enjoyed the amazing views from the balcony and spending time on the beach. The condo was beautifully furnished and made us feel we were in a home away from home. The condo was a perfect setup for our family (two parents and three kids ranging in age from 3 to 15 years old). Highly recommend staying at Mimi's Place!

Amazing view and very clean!

The property had reviews about updates needed and they have all been done and some others. The balcony view at sunrise is stunning. Plenty of room for our family and grandkids. Well stocked kitchen. Cooked meals there and enjoyed the beach with a short walk down the property newly rebuilt deck. The rooms were well sound proofed as we had small kids and some early to bed. Parking is challenging so don’t take a large vehicle. There are about 8 units with an interior staircase that is a hike to the 3rd floor. Overall, we loved our stay, determined we need to exercise more and loved being oceanfront.

Beautiful view

My husband, my sister and her husband and my 2 children stayed the week. We had an absolutely amazing stay and if we were at the house you would only find us on the deck staring at the ocean. We got up every morning to watch the sunrise right from there. I can't wait to come back and stay here again. The place was very clean and VERY bright. No need to turn the lights on during the day. The natural light takes care of that.

Mimi's place did not disappoint!

Can't beat the view and the condo is well appointed and spacious!! We really lucked out that the MAJOR beach construction moved out from the front of our condo just down the beach the day we arrived. According to people who had been there for 2 weeks, we were very lucky as they worked all day and throughout the night. Communication regarding the construction on the beach as well as the house being built next door would have been appropriate as other renters had been notified and compensated for the inconvenience. That being said- great location and great condo.
