"Took a day ride to visit our daughter and wanted something other than a hotel room. I stumbled across this little cozy cabin down by Crab Orchard and loved it. Nothing super fancy but it was perfect for what we needed. The place was a bit rustic and very clean and we loved it. There were deer and a few other animal visitors that we quite enjoyed. The bed was comfy and we slept great, the location takes you out of the hustle and bustle of the rest of the world. Would love to do it agian. "

"This is a remarkable property tucked into the woods just west of Carbondale. Beautifully appointed. Gorgeous screened-in wrap around porch. Amazing bedrooms with en-suite baths. This was a very comfortable weekend retreat for our family. Would definitely book again!"

"Nice and roomy home. We did not get to enjoy the pool (not in season) but we did enjoy sitting out on the patio on a cool evening. "

"The cabin was perfect, neat and clean, it had all we needed for the stay. This will be a perfect place to spend with family away from busy schedule, host was very friendly and kind, replies fast. We stayed three nights, there isnt much to explore around but it was relaxing.!! We went to ponoma natural bridge, Bald knob Cross and Cedar Lake beach."

"The cabin was perfect for our weekend getaway to celebrate my fiancés birthday. "

"Friends just wanting to get away from our kids and responsibilities and this cabin was perfect. Close enough to town that we went out for some very nice meals and exploring and a fully functional kitchen for all the snacking and lounging we were looking for. Perfect mom getaway. "

"This cabin was a good stay for the price. Location was a short drive to what we were visiting. A new couch should be on the to purchase list. We were sitting pretty low. "

"The property was spacious and perfect for our 4 nights. "

"I rented this cabin for my dad and aunt to come down for Memorial Day weekend as they have done for the last 2 years. This year was the little different my dad suffered a heart attack and didn't make it the host was amazing and offered an extra night so that my brother could come in to make funeral arrangements. I highly recommend this cabin not just because it is very lovely but also because the host is amazing! "

"My husband and I just wanted a quiet get away to do absolutely nothing. We wanted to get away from the hustle and bustle of our jobs and home. I wanted to read a book, and he loves to fish. He walked to the pond; I sat on the deck (when it wasn't raining.) We were able to use the grill a couple of times in between showers. There was wildlife, deer, turtles, and birds to entertain. Town had an antique shop, and we visited neighboring towns for more shops and ate a meal in Carbondale which was...
