"James (the host) was very friendly and attentive. The location of the house was breathtaking. Short drive to the stores and casino (which we enjoyed) Would definitely recommend to family and friends.The only disappointment was that huge tub in the master bathroom is not a whirlpool/jacuzzi tub. It is just a huge tub."

"Went back for a second time and plan on going back for a third. Great house by the lake in a relaxing environment. Love that the house is only a short walk from the water."

"Beautiful spot! Great hot tub. Went on the paddle boat and zip line, talked to a very cute pig. Bring your own water for coffee (there’s a machine with plenty of keurig pods) and drinking. We cooked on the gas grill and used the fire pit each night. There’s a shower but no sink, which was a bit awkward for washing dishes and brushing teeth. Owner might want to install one in or near the shower. Otherwise totally chill, charming, and private. Never met owner, but he communicated well. "

"Ww had a lovely, relaxing time at bear pause cabin! Amenities are nice! Very quiet area for relaxing and giving yourself much needed peace of mind from everyday stress. The weather wasn't the best when we were there, but we still got in some fishing time and walks on trails. Also went to different small towns for day trips and went to museums, parks and antique shops! C.J. was wonderful and helpful with our stay at bear pause cabin!"

"My daughter chose this property for the indoor pool, and it absolutely delivered. The pool was beautiful, well-maintained, and kept the kids entertained and active throughout our stay. The house itself was spotless and even more spacious than we expected. The kitchen and living areas had plenty of room for meals, movie nights, and just relaxing together.The entire property felt peaceful and secluded, making it a perfect escape. "We had a camping themed bachelorette weekend at this property and it was the perfect amount of outdoorsy for our group. We aren’t a group of camp-type people, so it was nice to have all the benefits of camping, but with an actual house. We enjoyed the area and loved seeing all the wildlife. The house was clean, had cozy vibes, and was spacious enough for us all to have our own beds and not feel crowded in common areas. "We enjoyed our time here. House was clean and was exactly as described in the listing. We used the boat dock for our boat over the weekend. The one thing that I wish we would have known is just how heavily trafficked this part of the lake is. The many boats go very fast and causing giant wakes last the docks which made it a little unsafe for our young kids at a few times. This is not controlled by the homeowner and was likely a product of a warm weather weekend. "

"Cute little cabin in the woods. Very comfortable for the two of us. It had everything we needed for our stay, and anything else we may have needed was not far away in town. Unfortunately it rained most of the time we were there, but we did get to spend at least one night out by the camp fire. Definitely a good place for a getaway for a couple."
