"This hotel is around an hour and 20 from Catania airport - Taxi cost € 140 and bus coach costs € 7. Its location is absolutely fabulous for your visit . Alex , you have been an incredible host. "I put easy parking because you will park in a lot and then take a free shuttle into town. However, then you have to tow your luggage around to Casa Turrisi and up a large flight of stairs to the reception up to your room on a tight staircase. The room was small but comfortable with a very compact bathroom that could use a good bleaching on the shower grout. It is quick walk to everywhere in town. "The room was clean and comfortable. The WiFi was intermittent unless you were outside or close to the restaurant. The buffet breakfast was delicious and full of a variety of pastries and regional items. The view from where we ate our breakfast was one of a kind. Within a 2-3 minute walk we were at the Car Lift to take us to the top of Taormina. We were within walking distance to 3 beaches. Also the Restaurant associated with the Hotel has delicious food. "This room was a great size and the separate shower/ toilet to sink area and large wardrobe room was great when you have four people sharing. The room had plenty of space and the balcony and seabird were great. We found the breakfast quality to be good and varied and loved the pool ( big enough to swim in properly and not too busy). Yes the hotel is down or up a steep drive depending which way you approach and driving through Taormina isn’t easy ( narrow streets and people everywhere) but the...
