"We ran out of coffee filters and dishwasher soap. There was no pepper in pepper shaker or on shelf. It would have been nice to have oil be a staple. Primary bathroom ran out of conditioner. Just a suggestion, but it would have been nice to have a couple of throw blankets so we could snuggled in them and used less heat. "

"Beautiful home with amazing views! We really enjoyed our stay. The place was, modern, very clean and cozy. It had everything we needed for our stay. It is very close to Avenue of the Giants. We also enjoyed dinner in Ferndale as per host's recommendation. "

"Fantastic place to make home base for the rodeo and fishing. Wish the place had robes for the hot tub. Loved it!"

"Clean and comfortable, quiet and surprisingly roomy. Thoughtfully furnished. Pool was a plus for our granddaughter, but the place would have been very nice without."

"We rented the house for a weekend for a high school track meet. It was great to have the space for 4 adults and 4 teens. We especially appreciated the large kitchen and dining room as we prepared all of our meals at the house. The location was ideal in downtown Fortuna, close to Fortuna High School. The house was well-stocked and clean. Would definitely stay again. I would note that 2 of the beds appear to be double beds instead of Queen-sized."

"I first stayed at the Ginger bread house in the 80ies not long after it became a B&B. It is just as wonderful now as it was then. From tea time to the stroll in the garden is was a magical stay. The one draw back was booking through VRBO. I was not able to contact the hostess directly and wasn't sure how to check in. It is best to make reservations by directly calling them. There was a guest there who had called in the afternoon and was able to get a room that night. The dining room was...

"We were in Ferndale for a multi-day event at the Fairgrounds. The Garden Suite suited us perfectly. We travel with our dogs, and the suite worked well. The location offered proximity to downtown Ferndale and its many charms, and also to the Fairgrounds. Our hosts (Sheila and Sharon) provided access information a couple days in advance, and gave careful directions so we wouldn't drive past their country-road location. We've already made our reservation for a return visit!"
