Sea Cottage - House - spectacular sea views

  • Sea Cottage (Casa) es una lujosa casa de vacaciones de alquiler en la ladera de la montaña por encima de la playa de pescado Hoek dormir cuatro en dos dormitorios. La playa y las vistas al mar son espectaculares con las montañas en el fondo.

    Sea Cottage es una casa con techo de paja histórica completamente renovado con paredes de piedra gruesa y pisos de Oregon Pine.

    El patio es enorme y es ideal para entretener a amigos mientras disfruta de las vistas.

    Tiene una cocina moderna con electrodomésticos nuevos, incluyendo lavadora y lavavajillas.

    La casa se accede desde el camino de la colina arriba, pero también hay una escalera privada hasta la Simonstown Main Road a continuación, para facilitar el acceso a pie a la playa.

    La casa es ideal para unas vacaciones junto al mar y está a poca distancia de la playa, tiendas, restaurantes y sistemas de transporte.

    Hay una piscina excelente y segura en la playa de Fish Hoek, un montón de opciones para caminar y los excursionistas pueden explorar la montaña Elsiespeak por encima de la casa.

We absolutely loved our stay at this beautiful cottage! So much character in this space! The funicular was so helpful in taking our luggage to the cottage. The sunset views and beach views made this the best stay!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Sea Cottage. It was clean and beautiful, well stocked with everything we needed, responsive host, safe, great views and location. The funicular was a fun bonus.

Absolutely wonderful!

We absolutely loved this place and would go back in a heartbeat! The check in process does have quite a few steps, and then there quite a few literal steps to get to the house, but once you are there it is so beautiful and comfortable! Had all of the amenities we could ask for.

Perfect size for two friends travelling together. Beautiful view. Lovely neighborhood location far enough out from the city center to be quiet, but close enough to be accessible.

What a view and beach!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Sea Cottage; the place is very roomy and the view and beach are great. The town itself can't compete with the stores or restaurants of Kalk Bay or Simon's Town, but they are closeby. We had a rental car during our stay, which made visiting the nearby towns and Table Mountain National Park convenient.

Fantastic

The house is in one word “ fantastic”. The neigbourhood fishhook is very nice and the house is on a perfect location. Super view and close enough to beach and shops. We had a wunderful week.

The view from the terrace is exactly as pictured - the most attractive thing in an attractive rental. Mark, the host and owner, was very helpful and provided a lovely starter basket to get us going. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you’d need. The funny “phone booth funicular” made access easy from the garage. Plenty of stores and restaurants in the neighbourhood, and the Point is just a scenic drive away. We would definitely stay again if we weren’t 13,000km away.

Lovely old cottage with full sun and views

An extremely well equipped cottage two houses down from the road and garage. The funicular made it easy to get groceries and luggage back and forth. Lots of seating and comfortable beds. We felt very safe there. Highly recommended.

A perfect view

This house is suited perfectly for an amazing view. It was clean and comfortable. The hosts were kind and welcoming. The town of Fish Hoek is an easy walk and the beach is so perfectly close for walks. We walked to the neighboring town also several times.

Wunderbarer Aufenthalt

Wir haben 2 wunderschöne Wochen verlebt und haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Der Blick von der Terrasse zum Meer ist wunderschön und war beim Frühstück ein perfekter Start in den Tag. Auch der Strand ist sehr schön. Am Abend Ist das Restaurant The Galley, direkt am Strand, sehr zu empfehlen. Ansonsten gibt es in der Umgebung viel zu erkunden und auch Kapstadt ist ja nicht weit. Wer es etwas ruhiger mag, dem dürfte der Nachbarort Kalk Bay gefallen. Alles in allem sehr erholsam.

Magnificant view and cosy spacious cottage. Garage is a very nice feature. Slightly difficult when carrying big suitecases . The small elevator -system is not really helpfull, because doors open to inside

A great place to explore Capetown from.

The week stay at this cottage was not without its drawbacks. it was well equipped and the view Fabulous. Anyone with mobility problems would find this property a challenge. Loadshedding was another frustrating experience. Mark and Sarah were attentive hosts.

Vollausstattung in der Küche, große möblierte Terrasse mit speziellem Zugang zu Strand (ca. 150m), eine Standseilbahn für das Gepack und die Einkäufe - einfach wunderbar.

Toller Aufenthalt am Meer

Wir haben 5 Nächte im Sea Cottage übernachtet. Es ist eine tolle Unterkunft mit 2 Schlafzimmern, 2 Duschbädern, einem Wohnzimmer und einer tollen Terrasse mit Meerblick. Zu Fuß ist man in 3-4 Minuten am Strand, in der Stadt gibt es einige Einkaufsläden und Cafés und auch zu den Nachbarorten ist es nicht weit. Perfekt, um die südliche Kap-Halbinsel zu erkunden und überall maximal 30-40 Minuten mit dem Auto zu benötigen.

Fantastisk utsikt från den stora terassen där man kan sitta både morgon, middag och kväll. Välutrustat kök. Trevlig möblering inomhus med soffor och bord, 2 matbord med stolar. 2 stora sovrum med sköna sängar och badrum till varje sovrum. Allt fanns vad man kan behöva. Trevligt och hjälpsamt värdpar.
